HERE WE GO AGAIN, I sighed.

The mess was even bigger than I thought. My temples hurt thinking about what could possibly happen if it wasn't her that entered my room. She looked me in the eyes like it would do any good, and I returned a forced smile.

"I will clean up this mess, alright?" I said.

Oh how I wished she would stop interrupting.

"No telling mommy and daddy?" She asked.

"Yes sweetie. Remember, this is a secret okay?"

"Okay."

That didn't sound genuine enough, I might ask her again just to be sure. I returned the rope, knife and chair that I set up and let her get out of my room, hoping to God she does not let this slip up and get both of us screwed.

Maybe I need to manifest being stealthy, that way this would never happen again.

I looked at the rope that I was going to use, rethinking if I should have done it earlier, then none of this would have happened, but thy procrastination settled in me, and you know what happens when it does.

I tugged at my hair as frustration settled in. "Why do you want me to live another day in this world!" I screamed at the ceiling, thinking I was talking to my God.

I want it to end right now. All the struggles, I don't want them. All the pain, I don't want them. But her, I want her.

I need her.

She puts a smile on my face during the darkest of times, a skill that only she mastered to do.

I managed to go to a corner of my room and sat there, staring at the distance, not knowing I let a tear roll down my face.

The door downstairs slammed shut and I jolted in surpirse.

"Maybe next time. I'll do it for the both of us."

I hastily wiped my tears off my face and put on a smile.

A skill I have mastered throughout my life.
