Tuesday:
"Okay, so getting hit with the kendo stick is gonna hurt like a batch and might leave a welt, but if you wanna do some real damage you need to use a steel chair." Lita explained pointing to each item that laid on the canvas of the training ring. I nodded my head as she explained which weapons to reach for. Lita and I had decided to come to the gym so the boys could have a little time to themselves.
"Okay, so what do you think Trish is gonna go for first?" I asked wanting her opinion.
"Honestly, its hard to say. Trish can be a bit of a wild card, but I think she might just play it safe and only go for the kendo stick." Lita explained.
"Why do you say that?" I asked her.
"In her mind she might be thinking that if she uses the easier tools you might not break out the fun toys." Lita told me as she moved to stand next to me.
"I mean she wouldn't be wrong. At the end of the day she is still my sister. I shouldn't want to hurt her." I told Lita as I picked up the kendo stick. I moved it around in my hand trying to get a feel for the weapon.
"Yoi can't do that. You need to think about everything she has done and said to you. She deserves everything you are gonna do to her in that match." Lita said placing a hand on my shoulder.
"I know your right, I just feel wrong doing it even though I shouldn't." I told her setting down the kendo stick a turning towards her.
"Alright, so have you ever jumped off a ladder?" Lita asked.
"Oh yeah, because I just randomly jump off ladders." I told her sarcastically with a eye roll.
"Well, you never know. Matt and Jeff have been jumping off ladders for years so I had to ask." Lita said raising her hands defensively. There was a long pause.
"How scary is it? Being on top of a ladder?" I asked her, she looked at me stunned before she answered me.
"Honestly, when your climbing you don't think about how high up it is, but when you reach the top there's this mome t when you think 'holy suit! Ehat am I doing?' But before you can panic your already pushing yourself off the ladder." Lita told me.
"Sounds intense" I told her
"It does, but you'll be fine it seems more terrifying than it really is." She told me as she climbed out of the ring. She started pulling the weapons out of the ring and putting them away. I climbed out of the ring and helped her. Today we just focused on basic training and figuring out what tools I would use in the match. As soon as we were finished cleaning up we went to leave the gym. As we were approaching the door Trish was walking in.
"Hey sis, how's it going?" Trish asked with a fake smile.
"Oh just fantastic, I was just figuring out with weapons im gonna use to break your body." I told her with a fake smile of my own. I went to walk past her but she blocked the way.
"By the way, someone's in town." Trish said before I could make it out the door.
"Who?" I asked, my curiosity getting the best of me. Before she could answer a familiar voice rang through my ears.
"Hi Kailee, its been awhile." He said and all the blood in my body ran cold. I turned my head and looked at the man I front of me.
"What are you doing here Ethan?" I asked with a shaking voice. He looked just as he did the last time I saw him. He had shaggy black hair and piercing blue eyes. His skin had a slight tan from the sun. He was just as handsome as I remembered him to be. Ethan wore a crooked smirk on his face that showed off his perfect white teeth. His muscular build towered over me easily.
"Oh you know, my girl missed me and I just needed to come see her." Ethan said moving next to Trish and wrapping an arm around her shoulder.
"Wow nice to see Satan found a soul mate." I said before turning to leave. I made it out the door and down the street before I let myself lean against a building. I could feel myself hyperventilating, a sign that I was having a panic attack. Lita quickly found me and tried to calm me down, but I couldn't hear anything she was saying. I felt my breathing slow down, but I couldn't move. My entire body felt like it had been filled with concrete. I felt Lita grab my shoulders and guide me towards the hotel. My body just complied like it was on autopilot. Before I knew it we were back at the hotel and in Litas room. All I could do was stare ahead at the wall as thoughts rushed my head.
Lita paced the room giving the younger woman on her bed worried glances. After what felt like hours the red haired woman heard the door open and two men walked in laughing at something, they abruptly stopped when they saw the scene infront of them.
"Whats going on?" Matt asked.
"We went to the gym and as we were getting ready to leave Trish walked in. They exchanged words, but then Thrish said that someone was in town and Ethan showed up." Lita said trying to shorten the story.
"Wait, what?!" Matt exclaimed.
"Yeah, Trish brought Ethan here, and apparently they're together." Liya said crossing her arms across her chest.
"Is she okay?" Jeff asked looking at the woman on the bed.
"I don't know, she ran out of the gym and when I found her she was having a panic attack. She hasn't said a word since." Lita explained to the two men. Jeff walked over to Kailee and kneeled I front of her.
"Hey, how you doing?" Jeff asked quietly placing a hand on her knee. Kailee just kept staring at the wall.
"Kailee, you okay?" He asked again, this time she actually looked at him.
"What?" She asked looking into his eyes.
"Are you okay?" Jeff asked once more. There was a silence before Kailee answered with tears in her eyes.
"No"
