The car ride was so peaceful , the silence soothing , Sia playing softly on his Bluetooth.
"This doesn't suit you at all"I giggled softly
" What my eyes or my abs you were drooling on" he winked at me
"Shut up , I meant Sia." I gave him a straight face
"Oh theres a lot you dont know about me."he kept on driving looking straight ahead.
" Yea and I wish not to too."I replied softly and he looked at me with those puppy dog eyes and l barked out a laugh "What?"he faked being wounded touching his chest and u kept on laughing
" That's a first,usually every woman I meet wants to know me on and out."and I snort
"You mean you wanna know them in and out."he rolls his eyes " Maybe "
Before I could argue more .his Bluetooth connects indicating a call and the world's most sweetest voice comes through.
"Yellow!!!!!" That makes Mister muscles laugh out loud. "Hey babe, you almost done we heading at your work place."
"We?" she sounds surprised "and I thought we gonna stick forever till death do us apart" that makes Nate smile a little "It's J's bae , just dropping her home ." she fake sighs making me giggle . it's obvious they got an open amazing relationship something I'd also like when the right time comes. They talk for a while and I just scroll through my YouTube , honestly I don't have a life I just watch The Royal Family dance moves and other You tubers.
Nate clears his throat "So tell me a little about your self."
I smirk at him "inside or out."that makes him laugh and that sound melts my heart. I mentally pinch my self Shut up bitch his taken
" I wouldn't mind both really."he smiles and I return the gesture
"Okay where so I start , I'm Rebecca Vanessa Smith, 18 going collage next week , I'm African-American . I'm a party pooper brown fav colour , only got one friend and I like reading books. Adding I'm single like the day I was born."he looks straight aged but after noticing I'm done he looks at me brows raised.
" That's all?"I give out a big grin"Yea like literally everything.
"No offence but your life is lame, how about parents siblings." I think my frown gave him the answer he needed.
"That's a low blow" I talk with a small voice my eyes tearing a little bit and the car stops .
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to pry." He looks genuinely concerned and l give him the biggest fake smile I could put on
"Its okay goodnight and thanks for the ride." I didn't even wait for his reply I just jump out of his amazing car heading upstairs crying my lungs , thank God this room was sound proof because it was going to be a long night

The coming days I spent my time packing and shopping for College I didn't even go to prom because why bother. Jack saw I was in a sour mood but he never bothered to ask why. Its either I had headphones ear killing my self with Grande or I'd listen to South African house music it cheered my self up and brought me closer to home .By the end of the week I was so ready to leave the mansion .
Whilst I was reading the bible Jack came in "knock knock."he smiled softly

"Nothing you already packed."I just nod my head and his sighs
"Becca"I look at him " You know I'm always there when you need me right I'll never leave you and I'll always be a shoulder you cry on .Just dont hold in your burdens but tell me everything , if your happy then I'm happy .Okay?" His voice is so intense making the room feel suddenly warm . I do the only thing I know how to since 4 years ago , I get up straddle his lap hug him closely my face buried in his neck and his arms around my neck squeezing me softly
"Your the best Jake."I tell him softly
"Back at you pumpkin."he mutters quietly.
