The hairs on the back of Eden's neck prick up in alert; watchful eyes setting her skin ablaze. Her heart stilling carefully within her chest, she casts a scrutinising gaze toward the strangers that dwell around her. Like a thorn sticking out from a bunch of roses, she and the Mandalorian stick out among the crowd, everyone watching the newcomers. Her voice quiet and for his ears only, she leans closer to Din. "Remind me who these people are again?"

"We're looking for Ran. I worked with him, a long time ago." Din matches the woman's low tone, but he looks only forward as they wander through the foreign space-station. After reaching out to an old colleague of his in search of a job, they'd been told to travel there to meet their employer - Ran. "Don't trust him."

"I wasn't planning to."

"Mando!" As if on cue, a bellowing voice calls out to them from behind. Shifting to face the man, Eden looks him over, taking note of his short stature, his grey hair and unruly beard. She raises a single brow toward him, recognising his innocent appearance to be a ploy; something that would mislead others to put their faith in him, wrongly so. The man ignores this look, a small smile on his face as he turns to Din. "Is that you under that bucket?"

Din cautiously shakes his hand. "Ran."

"And who is your lovely lady friend here?" Ran's attention turns toward Eden, much to her distaste. His gaze flickers over her; not in a way of wonder, but in a manner of assessing if she is a potential threat. The same facade of welcoming is plastered across his face as he outstretches his hand, offering it to the female to shake.

Eden remains still, her arms unmoving from their position crossed over her upper body. Her stony eyes meander down from his face, settling on his outstretched hand. She needn't see his face to feel the burn of his expectant stare; the notion that his beady eyes were forever watching her was a notion instilled within her mind. Her stubborn nature screams at her not to accept the offer, but she knew it was in their best interest to play along with whatever games he puts forth, so she shakes his hand. "Eden."

"I didn't really know if I'd ever see you in these parts again. Good to see you." Ran's focus had quickly returned to the Mandalorian, appearing pleased by the woman giving in to the hand-shake. Snaking one of his arms around Din's shoulders, he begins to guide the two forward through the space-station. "You know, to be honest, I was a little surprised when you reached out to me. You know, 'cause I... I hear things. Like maybe things between you and the Guild aren't workin' out."
