Dearest Nurse

Togami's POV

I groan before placing a hand on my stomach.  I'm never going to eat the food from here again.  "Byakuya?  Are you alright?"  My English teacher asks, walking over to my desk.  "You look ill, would you like to go to the nurse?"  I nod and get up from my seat. The nurse's office is right next to my current class so it's not like I have to walk far.

I open the door to the office, only to not find the nurse. "Oh! I'm sorry, I was in the back. How can I help you?" A small brunette boy who looks like he's in the fifth grade and hasn't yet hit puberty, jumps in front of me. He sort of reminds me of a ferret. "Where's the nurse?" "She's on vacation, I'm filling in for her until she gets back." I scoff, "and you're qualified?" "Yep! I took a special class just for it." "Class.. How old are you?" He smiles, "I'm actually a student here, a sophomore, Makoto Naegi!" This adolescent-looking boy is in the same grade as me?! "Ah, I've never heard of you." He laughs nervously.

"Well, do you need my help? Hmm, stomachache?" Embarrassed, I mumble quietly, "yeah." "Oh, no problem! You can lay down over there." I walk over the bed, and lie down. It feels nice to rest. "You can take Pepto, right?" "Mhm," gross.. "Alright, here you go!" Naegi hands me a medicine cup filled with disgusting pink crap. I wait for the boy to bring me a glass of water before I take it. "Okay, whenever you're ready." I drink the medicine, unintentionally making an odd noise out of disgust. Naegi giggles, "yeah, it doesn't taste too good does it?"

He pulls up a chair and sits next to me. "That shouldn't take long to set in." And as if on cue, the pain went away. Though I doubt it's the Pepto. Naegi's rubbing my stomach. This boy that I have never seen before, is rubbing my stomach. And I like it.. It's a nice feeling, but I can't help but think that he's a part of that nice feeling. Like, would I really let anyone else touch my stomach? Would I really let anyone else touch me?

"Feeling any better yet?" I was quickly brought back down to earth. "Oh, yeah. Thanks." Did I just thank him?! "Yeah! My pleasure." He takes his hand off of me, which for some reason, upsets me. I should've lied, then he probably would have kept me longer. "If you're ready to go, I'll see you later!" I nod, "goodbye."

I started coming back to the office everyday for the next week, just to see that boy. But, he eventually caught on.

"Hey, Byakuya?" "Hmm?" Makoto smiled, "I can tell what you're doing." "Huh?" "You're not actually sick, you just keep coming back in here. This is sort of a dumb question but, are you coming to see me?" Caught, I saw no point in lying. "Yes, yes I am." Makoto giggled sweetly, "y'know, if you wanted to hang out, you could've just asked. I really like you Byakuya." I could tell I was blushing, and maybe even smiling. "Thank you Makoto. ..You're not mad at me are you?" "For what, lying to me? No, not really. Although I did waste a lot of Pepto on you." I chuckled, "Sorry." "So, would you be willing to meet up with me on Saturday? We could go to the park or something." "Yeah, I guess I'd like that." Makoto giggled and bounced in place a bit. "Thank you! Do you mind if I call it a date?" "Fine, but don't go around telling people about this, okay?" "Okay!"

But as soon as we got out to the halls,

"I'M GOING ON A DATE WITH THE PRETTIEST BOY IN THIS SCHOOL!"

"MAKOTO!"

I understand that this is kind of weird, and dumb, but I haven't posted in a while and I'm running out of ideas. I'm also going to make a quick confession here that I should share, but, I'm going to anyways. I have this odd attraction to stomachaches, so I apologize if that comes up a few times.
