A New Love (One-shot)

"Togami? Are you home?" Naegi steps through the front door and places his school bag on the couch. "Byakuya? I'm back!" He slowly opens the door to Togami's room, revealing the blonde.
"Gosh, all you do is read." Naegi states, crawling into the bed. "I do not! I do plenty of other things." "Like what?" "Well, I have school work, I have to keep my business up, and I'm constantly taking phone calls." Naegi scoffs, getting under the blankets and laying next to Byakuya. "I mean like, fun things. Do you ever do anything fun?" Naegi asks, propping himself up. "I don't have time for fun." He responds, still not looking at the boy. "If you have time to sit in bed and read, I'm sure you have time for at least a little fun." "If you've just come in here to lecture me on how to spend my time, leave." Togami retorts, putting his book down.
The blonde attempts getting up, but the brunette stealthy grabs his waist and pulls him back down. "Why are you so strong?!" "It's my adrenaline," Naegi smiles. "Ooo, why don't we watch a movie!" Naegi says, grabbing the TV remote. "Not interested," Togami claims, though he still remains in bed. "Come on! It'll be fun!" Naegi turns on the TV and searches for a movie.
"How about a horror movie! I haven't watched something scary in a long time." Knowing that he clearly won't get his way, Togami agrees, hesitantly, and lets Naegi pick a movie. "This one!" Naegi points. On the screen was a picture of a disturbing women and a understandably disturbed man. Togami sighs as he picks up his book. "No Togami! You're going to watch this movie with me!  You agreed." Naegi takes the book from Togami's hands and places it on his bedside table.  Togami groans.

     Half an hour into the movie, Togami begins to realize that Naegi is breathing a lot heavier than usual.  "Hey, are you alright?"  He asks, petting Makoto's head.  "Huh?  Oh yeah, I'm fine.."  Naegi's not a very good liar.  "Okay, if you need anything I'm right here."

      Togami lets out a sigh of relief, the movie was finally over.  "It's already 9:00, are you ready to go to bed?"  Togami asks.  "Yeah, I'm pretty tired."  They both get up from bed and do their nightly procedures.  "Goodnight Naegi."  "Goodnight Togami"

      Byakuya fell asleep relatively quick, but this was not the case for Makoto.  Around 2:00AM Togami was awoken by the sound of light sobs.  "Naegi?"  Togami grabs his glasses and turns on a lamp light.  "What's wrong, dear?"  Byakuya asks, gesturing the boy into his arms.  "Nothings wrong..  I just..got hurt."  Yeah, still a bad liar.  "You're scared aren't you."  Togami asks, stroking Naegi's back.  "No!  I'm not scared, okay?!"  Naegi moved away from Togami's hold.  Visible tears rolled down his cheeks.  "Makoto, why are you acting like this?  Are you embarrassed?"  Naegi looked down in defeat.  "Come on Naegi, you know that I would never be upset with you over such a dumb thing."  Suddenly gaining a new trust in Byakuya, Naegi slowly crawls to him and hugs him.  "I'm scared.."  He admits, hiding his face in Togami's arms.  "I know, it's okay.  Nothing from that movie is going to hurt you..Nothing is going to hurt you."  Byakuya lies down, Naegi still on his chest.  Togami gently rubs the brunette's back.  Naegi squeaked out a thank you but his voice was still very shaky. 

    Makoto felt a love in Togami which he had never felt before.  He now knew that he could tell his boyfriend anything and still be held.  He was no longer scared, only thankful for the beautiful angel that he calls, "dear."
