Byakuya's Freckles

4th Grade

"Makoto watch what you're doing!"  Byakuya yelled out before getting splashed in the face.  "Oh!  I'm sorry!  I didn't mean to!"  Makoto lifted himself out of the pool and walked over to the blonde.

The boys were hanging out at Togami's house.  Naegi loved being in the large pool and never understood why Togami refused to join him.

"Byakuya?  You're melting."  "What?!"  "Your face, were you wearing makeup?"  The blonde quickly turned to face the wall behind him, and grabbed a small pocket mirror from out of his blazer.  Some of the foundation he had applied was coming off, revealing his spotted face.  "Makoto, I'll be right back.."  "Um, okay?"

Togami grabbed a towel and rushed back inside the house.  "Stupid freckles.."  He whined, keeping his head down.  Arriving at the bathroom, he took his foundation bottle and began to add more.  "Hey 'Kuya, you okay?-  Huh?"  "Ah!  Makoto!  You can't just walk in here without warning!"  Byakuya yelled, turning his back towards the boy in an attempt to hide his face.  "Sorry, but, what were you doing?"  "N-Nothing!  Go away!"  "Aww, come on!  Lemme see!"  The blonde tried to keep his balance while being tugged on by the brunette.  "No!  Leave me alone!"  "'Kuya, I wanna see!  Lemme see."

Byakuya let out a whimper-like noise before turning back towards Makoto.  "Aww!  You're cute!"  "What?!"  Naegi smiled, making the blonde's face go red.  "I never knew you had freckles, they look great on you!"  Togami tried to stay serious, but he couldn't help but smile.  "R-Really?"  "Yeah!  Why are you trying to cover them?"  Makoto sat down and gestured for the blonde to sit too.  "Well, I always thought they looked weird on me.."  He confessed.  "Oh, that's not something to be insecure about!  They're adorable, I wish I had freckles."  Makoto giggled, placing a hand on the boy's cheek.  "T-Thank you..."

6th Grade     

"Hey, you about ready to go?"  Naegi asks.  They were going to a library to study for an upcoming test.  "Yeah, just a second.."  Tired of waiting, Makoto peaks his head into Togami's bathroom.  "What're you doing?"  Byakuya was staring at himself in the mirror.  "Nothing."  "It's the freckles, isn't it?"  Makoto walks over to the blonde and puts a hand on his shoulder.  "How many times do I have to tell you this, they look great!"  Byakuya scoffed, "yeah, I don't believe you."  "Here, maybe this will help you believe.  "What-"

Makoto put his lips to Byakuya's freckle-covered cheek and pecked it lightly.  "Ah!  You-  Ah?!"  Togami stuttered, blushing uncontrollably.  "Haha!  You're all red!  How cute."  "N-Naegi!  If you call me cute one more time.."  "Oh hush, come on let's go."  Makoto smiles and skips out of the bathroom.  "Hey wait, before we go-

could you kiss me again?"
