25 December 1998. 7 months since we lost Fred.

I woke up next to George; I had a nightmare involving Fred, and after I woke from it, George invited me to sleep with him. It was adorable.

He had his own nightmares though... he saw more of Fred's death than I did. We needed each other.

I rolled out of his bed and put my slippers on and walked over to my bed. I hoped I was the first one awake so I could prepare breakfast and get everyone's presents ready.

I made each Weasley (significant others included) a personalized gift and I made the family one giant gift as well.

I peeked out the bedroom door, careful not to wake Georgie. I didn't hear anyone downstairs, so I slowly shut the bedroom door and headed downstairs. I was greeted by Tabitha, who rubbed up against my legs and walked back to her bed. I continued my walk to the kitchen where I started to magic some breakfast together.

While I had breakfast started, I ran back upstairs and quietly grabbed the presents I made for everyone. I didn't technically make them, I drew them. Each of them. I placed the wrapped canvases on the each of their plates, and put the family one in the middle of the table. I knew they'd love what I drew them.

An hour later, the rest of the family started to wake up. Bill and Fleur were visiting, and were the first to awake.

"Good morning Mary! Happy Christmas!" Bill said as he stretched and followed his wife down the steps.

"Good morning Mar'i!" Fleur said as she walked over to hug me. "Yew made breakf'east? Lovely!"

"Yes! Please sit, but don't open your presents yet!"

"Hi everyone! Happy Christmas!" I said cheerfully as Ginny, Harry, Hermione, Molly and Arthur entered the kitchen area.

"Morning Mary! Oh, thanks for breakfast dear!"

"You're welcome! Don't open your presents yet! I'm gonna go get Georgie!" I ran back upstairs and heard the shower going.. I peaked through the crack in door and saw that it was George. I heard him singing too, so I backed away, but jumped when I heard Ron, "hello Mary!"

"Bloody hell Ron! You scared me!"

"Erm.. were you watching George??"

"No! I just wanted.. to see. Piss off Ron!" I was beet red when I turned around to smack him. He ran away downstairs, looking embarrassed for me.

"Hmmmm... Mary Fudge." I heard George say behind me. I turned around to see his smug face staring at me. His towel was around his waste and he wasn't wearing a shirt. I didn't mind certain people still calling me 'Fudge'.

"I was not watching you! I mean.. Erm. Happy Christmas, Georgie! Come done when ya can.."

"Happy Christmas Fudge," he winked and smacked my bum as he walked into our bedroom.

Downstairs, everyone was finally gathered around the table. "Everyone! I did your presents a little differently this year! I gave you each your own personal gift, and then I gave the family a big gift!"

"Which do we open first, Mary?" Ginny asked.

"Hmm... the big one in the middle! I hope you like it!" I backed up against the sink and bit my lip in anticipation. "G'head Molly! Open'it!" I waited as Molly started to open it, the rest of the family tore off pieces of the wrapping. When they finally got all the wrapping off, they gasped and looked over at me, tears in their eyes. All of them.

"Mary..." Molly spoke up. I walked over the to the table.

I drew their faces, in their happiest moment, surrounding Fred— Ginny after she and Harry kissed, Harry the same, Hermione after she found out Ron's patronus, Ron after he kissed Hermione, George after they won the quidditch cup, Bill and Fleur at their wedding, Charlie with his dragons, and Molly and Arthur, with their kids. Fred was biggest in the middle, he had a halo floating above his head. I was tucked next to him and the rest of the clan surrounded him on the page. Took me nearly a month, but it was worth it. I used a memory extraction charm to recall their faces at the moments I wanted them in.
