1 December, 1999. My 20th birthday was tomorrow.
I had been working as the Magical Creatures Breeding and Raising Supervisor since mid-June, and I was loving it! I was able to get George a license to breed Pygmy puffs, Phoenix's, and Puffskeins! That really helped their business and made me feel better about them doing it legally.
It was amazing to go the Ministry, and make a case for or against someone getting a license to breed.
It was wonderfully exhilarating and very intense at the the same time. I was spending weekdays with Georgie in the flat, and most weekends with mum and dad Weasley in the burrow. George bought a frame, so Freddie could visit the flat too.
I was happy, and George seemed to be too. It was hard for him to be honestly happy, he felt guilty. I did too, but I had to constantly remind him that Fred would want us to be happy.
