Taylor's Point of View~

I went back to Brillari's file and showed her something that was beginning to stick out. "Here, they show your name as Alex Haven. Here they have you down as Brillari Haven," I pointed, looking over at her.

The rapper paused, staring at the paper. "My mom would sometimes make me write my name as Alex on certain documents. I coulda sworn they were mostly official documents when I wrote my name as Alex. I never really thought too hard about it though."

"Maybe Brillari isn't your real name," Roze suggested. "Or maybe Alex is someone else," I suggested too, staring at Brillari. "You said you don't remember your childhood from before the age of six. Maybe there's a possibility-

"No," Brillari said firmly.

"Maybe you were kidnapped?" Roze said softly, touching her arm.

"Those parents of mine were horrible but they wouldn't kidnap me. They didn't use me for anything, they treated me and Adorah the same. Check Adorah's files, did she have another name she went by? What was the point of kidnapping me only to treat me harshly?"

"Wait a moment," I mumbled, looking through my enhanced database. Gambino had given me access to some of the FBI's tools. "Your mother and father, Wanda and Johnson Haven, had a child named Alex," I began. Brillari leaned forward, getting on the bed closer to me.

"She died at the age of six. Drowned in a bath tub still running, according to a family friend that stayed with them. Get this though, your mother and father then found that family friend  suffering from deadly food poisoning and took her to the hospital hours late," I looked up.

"Because she was trying to tell other people...?" Brillari clued together.

"You're using a dead child's identification, and she was never pronounced dead because no one knew except that family friend who was silenced. I suppose the people she told, probably the hospital for it to be on here, didn't believe her." I looked back down at the paper, "It said that was her last few words as she died."

"If Alex Haven died at the age of six and you aren't Alex Haven. Then are you Brillari Haven?" Roze asked, turning to the rapper.

"Of course I'm Brillari Haven. I'm Ari Brill," she breathed quickly. "This is all bullshit."

"You wanted the facts and now you got them, Brillari. Listen. If Alex Haven died at age six and you aren't her, it's likely you were kidnapped, since you can't remember your childhood from before then."

"But why would they kidnap- Hold up, I have to take a call," Roze said, getting up from the floor and walking into the living room.

Brillari watched her go then turned to me. "If I find out you're lying-

"I'm not," I said strongly.

"Who are my real parents?" she asked gently.

"Brill!" Roze shouted from the living room. We both got up to join her. "The cops are over at my condo. The chick I had over is saying that they wanna talk to me about a shootout," she paled. "Did you do it?" I asked. Roze looked at me incredulously, "Did I do it?" she murmured to herself, "Of course I did it!" she screeched.

"Look, just tell the truth and they'll let you off easy, probably," Brill said, worry in her eyes. "I can't lose you too, you're the closest thing I have to family, Roze."

"I'll see if I can get a lawyer friend to help. Just don't say anything, and let us know where you are," I offered. Not too long ago Roze was threatening me but now she needed my help. I knew that these women both had kind souls though. They just wanted justice.

"Look, I live in Cleveland, but the shootout was in Katy. It's probably the Katy police or something. I don't know if they have a police force. Maybe Houston police. Find me there. I'm going to go ahead and head back home. I'm not gonna frustrate these people more and have them looking for me," she said.

"I'll go with you," Brillari offered.

"No, that's not gonna put out a good image for you," Roze said, serious. "Does it look like I have a good one right now. For all I know Dizzy might be suing me too."

"Look, just stay here. You can keep the Camero. I'll get an Uber, don't worry about me."

"Roze," Brillari begged.

Roze looked back at her at the door, then ran to her and kissed Brill on the mouth. "No homo bro, that was out of love," she laughed. "I know," Brillari squeezed her tight. "Stay safe," she whispered. "I will," Roze smirked. She let herself out and I went to lock the door.

"I'll try to help your....friend," I told the rapper. She sat on the couch, rubbing her face. "I really appreciate this all man. I'll give you every penny I have. I swear."

"You don't have to do that, I know what it's like to lose family. I wanna help you find yours. C'mon back in my room."

Brill got up from the couch and followed me slowly back into my bedroom. She sat on the floor again and I got back into my pile of files. "What were we on before?"

Brillari tried to remember, but I settled on looking at the electronic copy in front of me. "Your real parents. Ahh, yes. We need to know who you are first," I told her.

"I'm Brillari Haven. Who else can I be?" she sighed. "Apparently Alex Haven." I looked away from her sad face, "I didn't mean it like that. We just have to figure out your real last name and if you have any changes to your first or middle name."

"The name I've known all my life is Brillari Destani Haven. Wait...if I'm not related to my parents then my sister isn't really my sister." That seemed like the hardest part for the rapper to take. "She's still your sister. You hurt and loved together. Blood doesn't mean a thing, Brillari," I assured her.

"Where are your parents now? They're kidnappers."

"I don't care for them. I also don't know where they are, but I'd love to see them in prison. I need to talk to Adorah about this," she sighed.

"So is this the part where I get to meet the infamous Adorah?" I joked.

"Yes," Brillari sighed, rubbing her forehead.
