Brillari's Point of View~

I called Adorah, looking at the rough carpet. Once I was connected to her, I started into my quick story of what was going on. "I got a label deal because I was a part of a rap competition. But then this other rapper got jealous, her name is Karlen Dizzy. She wanted to fight me so I went and fought her. She been tryna beef with me over IG. Roze is going to jail possibly for a shoot out she was a part of."

"Whoa, whoa. Slow down. Roze in a shoot out?"

"Then, I don't even know how to explain this part, but I'm working with a private investigator and I found out that my parents aren't mine. I was kidnapped, Adorah."

"Kidnapped...? Brill, I-

"Mom and Dad had me using their dead child's identification. Her name was Alex Haven, she drowned at the age of six and her death was never reported."

"Brillari are you sure about all of this? Are you okay?" Adorah asked, concerned.

"I don't even know...I just wanna get down to the bottom of all of this. Now, not only do I have to save my rap career because Karlen's been tainting my name, I have to free you and Roze, and figure out who my real family is."

"And put your parents in jail," Taylor interjected.

"I- Brill- Who is this?" my big sister asked, in regards to Taylor's voice. "I'm the PI," Taylor introduced herself, "Taylor Theodore. An FBI agent hired me to look into Brillari because of you. They believe she's selling psychiatric drugs and other illegal products because of your drug dealing. And your recent charges," Taylor added.

"This is...a lot," Adorah exhaled.

"I know, trust me," I agreed.

"So what's the first step?" Adorah asked.

"Really the most important thing is to get you and Roze freed."

"No it isn't. I know Roze would agree with me: Figure out what's going on with you. You have a whole family somewhere else, Brillari. They miss you, they want you. Me and Roze can handle ourselves. Although I'm innocent on account of my so called serial killing, I knew what I was doing with the drug dealing. And if Roze did her little shoot out, she knew what she was doing with that too."

Silence came from both ends.

"I'll keep you updated. But don't think I'm going to give up on y'all," I promised again.

"I would never," Adorah agreed seriously.

"Hey, lemme talk to Taylor right quick," Adorah asked. I took her off of speaker phone and handed the private investigator my phone. My sister immediately began talking as soon as Taylor got on the phone.

Taylor's expression was unreadable as she listened to her. Taylor handed me back the phone a moment later and gave me a small smile. "I love you, Brill. I gotta go." I whispered "I love you" back and the phone hung up.

"So, let's start with missing children's reports then, shall we?" Taylor suggested right away.

"I can probably help, where do I go on my phone?"

"It'll be faster with the help of the FBI's things," she told me.

"I hope Roze is safe," I stated, looking down at my blank screen. "Why did the FBI even think I would be dealing with drugs. They thought my sister passed on her drug dealing to me to hold down since she was gone, or something?" I asked randomly.

"Gambino told me they received an anonymous tip," she said.

"From who?" my eyebrows crinkled.

"It's anonymous but I'm sure I can look into that. That'd be one of those things I would do on an off day though, because it's very easy to find out info on people that send those in, despite what people think," she told me.
