"Erin Lindsay I have something to ask you." Jay said getting up, leaving Erin confused. "What?" She laughed.

"Erin when you left, I had a ring in my pocket waiting for your hand. When we met again and you told me Emilia was our daughter, I was the happiest man on earth. I loved you with all my heart and still do, nothing can tear me away from you anymore. Will you marry me?" Jay got down on one knee. "Yes, yes a million times." Jay got up and slid the ring on her finger. He picked her up and kissed her. One perfect scene, the sunset behind them.

June 21st
Erin woke up and saw the diamond ring on her hand. She smiled remembering what had happened the previous night. "Morning fiancée." Jay rolled over to face Erin. "Morning." Erin kissed him. "So Emilia is at Kim's till eleven, we have the apartment to ourselves."Jay said. "And..." Erin said even though she knew what he was getting at.

They got up and dressed at around ten thirty to go pick Emilia up. They walked down to the car to go to Kim's.

"Come in!" Kim said, she stepped to the side. They both came in. "What did you do last night?" Kim asked. Erin lifted up her left hand. "No way!" Kim was excited. Erin nodded.

"Emilia baby are you ready?" Erin shouted. No response came. "Where are they?" Jay was getting impatient. "Can I go to Jess's room?" Erin asked Kim. "Yeah sure." Erin walked upstairs to Jessica's room. She could see a big lump under the duvet. "Emilia come on we need to go home."  Erin said. "No." A voice came from the bed. "Emilia Esmé Halstead move now!" Emilia had never heard her mommy speak like that before, but she knew she meant business. So Emilia slowly got out and collected her bag. "Go on, off you go." Erin was not happy. Emilia was close to tears. "Daddy." She ran to Jay and burst into tears. "I don't want to go." "What did you do?" He asked Erin. "Not now Halstead, when we get home." Erin said. Jay knew not to mess with Erin when she was in a mood like this. "We're going, thanks for having her Kim, Adam." Erin said. "It was a pleasure." Kim said. "Bye." Jay said carrying Emilia.

"What got into you?" Jay said when they got home. "Nothing." Erin scoffed. "Seriously you scared Emilia." Jay said. "Oh so suddenly you know what's best for my daughter." Erin was getting more and more annoyed. "She's my daughter too." Jay said. "Erin stop. Somethings wrong and you need to sort it out." Jay said. He walked off to go see Emilia.

Erin knew something was wrong, why did she act like that? She never flies off the handle like that with Emilia. Erin was always so careful around her. Now she thought about it, she'd been off the last couple days. Getting more emotional about things, more annoyed and rived up. Could she be pregnant? "Jay I'm going out!" She shouted before quickly grabbing the car keys and going.

Ten seconds, 'beep.' Erin slowly turned over the test. +, it stuck out like a sore thumb. 'Oh no.' Erin thought. "Erin are you done in there?" Jay asked, he needed to get a shower. "Uh yeah." She shoved the test in the draw and went out. "You ok?" Jay asked. "I'm fine." Erin said before rushing off to their bedroom.

"I'm sorry about earlier. I was well out of order and shouldn't have reacted like that." Erin said, as she and Jay were in bed. "Did you figure out what was wrong?" He asked. "Yeah." "What?" Erin froze, she didn't know what to say. "It doesn't matter, just know I'm sorry and I love you." Erin kissed him gently. She turned her light off and went to sleep. Jay was left wondering what on earth just happened. He knew there was something Erin wasn't telling him. And he was going to find out whether she liked it or not.
