Anniversary

Today was Luke and I's 3 year Anniversary, my plan to wake up early and make him breakfast failed miserably, I had a headache last night and took sleeping pills so it is now noon.

I woke up and Luke was nowhere in sight, I checked all over the house and absolutely no sign of him.

I quickly took a shower and put on a nice dress, I did my makeup and my hair. By the time i was done it was now 2pm

where the hell is Luke I miss him!

I called his phone and he didnt answer, he was probably in the studio with the boys

I decided on making him a nice dinner for when he comes back home

i shoot him a quick text and drove to the store

"hey Babe! where are you? Miss you see you tonight x"

after a 30 minute drive with this insane traffic i finally got to the store and chose a few decorations, nothing too fancy nothing too poorly

I chnaged aisle and headed to the food direction, Maybe i should make Steak with potatoe and vegetables? Wine probably too, and dessert ill make a cake shaped as a heart ... yeah!!

I spent about 2 hours trying to find everything, Luke usually gets back around 6pm from the studio so I have 2 hours to prepare everything

I head home and noticed Lukes car in the driveway

I hid the stuff in the trunk, I'll get him out the house for a bit while I fix up the food and everything

I'm actually excited yay

I walk into the house and it was quite

"LUKE!" I call out

Nothing , I could hear the tv on from distance which I assume was our rooms

I walked up to the room and opened the door slowly

My world quickly came crumbling down

"Baby harder!!" An unknown girl moans loudly

Luke was fucking a girl on our fucking bed!

I slapped a hand on my mouth
I couldn't believe it
I watch them, I can't move, I can't look away

I can't believe my eyes !

"Y-you fucking asshole!" I cry

Luke confusingly looked my way, he notices me standing there watching him fuck a girl that's not me

His eyes open wide and quickly gets off the girl

I run away from him and from everything
"(Y/n) wait!! " he calls out

He chases down the hall putting on his boxers

"Fuck baby please listen to me"

I keep running but those stupid legs of his always made it easy for him to quickly catch up

"Don't you dare fucking touch me" I pull my arm from his hold

"Baby I'm so sorry it's not what it looks like "

I slapped him, I've never slapped him before but I was not going to hold back

"How could you! And on our bed Luke!!"

I wipe my tears away

I slap and punch him
"You're disgusting!! "

He hold my arms and pulls me close to him
"Let me go!! Don't fucking touch me you stupid ass prick" I cry

"Baby please"
"Baby nothing! I want your shit out including your whore! "

"Y/n baby..."

I quickly take off my promise ring and throw it at his face

"Happy anniversary to you too"

Like that I leave the house
Before shutting the door I hear him curse

I quickly get into the car and drive off to wherever it is the car takes me

I park the car and start crying , just crying and crying
My phone rings a few times , Luke has called and texted over 50 times, The rest of the boys also call but I just turn off my phone

My body feels numbed

The sky was now dark , I lean my drivers seat all the way down and lock the doors

I close my eyes and feel my body empty

No tears come out, no emotions. I feel completely blank

I dedicated three years of my life to Luke, the one I thought was the one but boy was I wrong.

I have to go home at some point and i freaking hope he's out, no sign that he even lived there whatsoever

I wait about another hour before heading home, Lukes car is in the driveway and i really hope for his sake that he's packing his shit

I take a deep breathe and step into the house

I hoped to see suitcases ready to be thrown out the house but instead all I see is Luke staring at the door sitting across the hall with red puffy eyes

"baby you came back" he quickly gets up

i stare at him blankly

"let me explain please"

"why arent you out of my house yet?"

"y/n please let me explain"

"explain then.."

"you see ive known her for awhile we hooked up before I met you and she came back to town today, she texted me early in the morning to meet up and catch up, we were drinking and one thing lead to the other and well you know'

i nod "okay you explained now get out"

"i didnt remember it was our anniversary"

I look down, that hurts. After 3 fucking years he never considered it important

he tilts my head up and leans in I quickly pull back and push him

"im not going to say this again"

He gets a box out of his pocket "will you marry me"

"you're full of shit" i roll my eyes

I look at the ring then at him

im completwly speechless, Luke said he was not thinking about marriage until he was atleast 26

the ring was exactly how i always pictures it, even better

"i-I cant not right now, not after this. Please just leave Luke"

"promise you will think about it"

i look down and nod "i promise but just leave"

he kissed my forhead and walked out ...

i closed the door behind him and slid down to the floor
