Tommy and Techno
Fluff
Trigger Warnings // Blindness, Rain
-
Tommy breathlessly felt his fingers graze the glass of the window in front of him, a familiar feeling, comforting to the boy. A small smile crept across his thin, lightly dusted, pink lips, as droplets of rain started to slowly fall against the see-through glass. It was quiet except for the bustle of wind and water outside, but that's what was nice about sitting and listening to it all. Tommy knew he was safe indoors, where it was silent, cept for a clock and muffled conversations.
The blonde sighed and slowly laid his forehead against the glass, drawing his fingers away from the cold surface. There was no use staring outside his window if his milky white eyes wouldn't meet the sight. The pelting of rain was sweet to his ears, a pattern almost. It was rhythmic, almost as if it was a poem tapping the words on the side of Tommy's house.
A small clicking rung out and soon followed the opening of a door, the door to his bedroom.
"Wil?" Tommy questioned, picking his head up from it's spot against the glass, and turning to face the sound, although the action was futile.
"No." Techno's voice came from across the younger's bedroom. "It's Techno."
Tommy giggled slightly. "You know just because I can't see doesn't mean that I can't tell who's voice is who's?"
It was a rhetorical question, of course, Techno knew this.
"Yeah, yeah, I just wanted to make sure you knew it was me." The pink haired man laughed lightly, stepping closer to Tommy.
The younger turned back to the window, he laid on an old indoor bench that once was placed downstairs by the front door, it had been moved to his bedroom a few months ago as Phil hadn't wanted his son to sit on the floor while at the window. A blanket draped over Tommy and tucked under him as he sat with his legs crossed.
The boy hummed slightly at the statement and slowly moved his hand along the windowsill, chipped wood against the tips of his fingers as he tapped them.
The bench dipped slightly as another weight joined him, the slight smile coming back to his face as he recognized the other as his brother.
Tommy felt an arm around him and he leaned into the touch. He would never admit it but he was an affectionate person, especially around the people closest to him. His hands interlocked with the others and he could feel Techno's thumb rub circles on his skin. The older's other free hand made it's way to Tommy's blonde hair, where he messed with the strands as his younger brother rested his head on his shoulder.
It had been a calm day, and both wished for it to remain that way.
