Sofia POV
Today I will finally be an attending. I am really happy that my dad is here to see this. I know that he almost died in a plane crash with my step mom, Lexie, where my mom lost her leg.
I love ortho. It makes me so happy to think that I can work with my mom saving lives. My best friend, Zola, is an attending too- neuro, just like her dad and two aunts.
I walk into the hospital ready for action. I know that it's going to be a long day. I grab charts and start rounding on my patients.
"Mr. Elworth! How are we this morning?" I questioned.
"I will be great if you can tell me some good news, doc!" He responded. I laughed.
"Who's presenting?" I asked.
"I am." Said Scout Lincoln. "Greg Elworth, 58, 3 days post op from a non-invasive hip replacement. No signs of adhesions or postop infection. All looks good!"
"You hear that? You should be out of here by tomorrow morning!"
"Oh thank god! I'm ready to go home!" Mr. Elworth said.I exited his room and was paged to the pit. I ran down the long hallways of SGMW to the ER to see a trauma rolling in.
"Car versus pedestrian! Blood loss in the field, looks like broken ribs, broken legs, and arms!"
"Page Grey!"I took another look at the person lying on the gurney and my heart dropped. I knew who this was and it wasn't good.
