After wandering around for a while, Jeongguk eventually recognized the area and was able to lead Taehyung to his house. Of course, the demon knew the area pretty well, but he wanted to walk around with him a little longer.
Jeongguk lives surrounded by flowers and trees, it's idyllic, simply fantastic. His father was a hunter and owned a lot of land that now belongs to the vampire. At the back is a large lake with fish and everything that a body of water attracts.
"Come in." Jeongguk unlocks the door and enters his home first, takes off his shoes and provides a pair of slippers for the older. "Feel at home, do you want a glass of water?"
Taehyung nods and sits down on the couch, looking around. He only saw everything from the outside, was never inside before. When he found the vampire, he was laying in the dirt a few meters away from the house.
The parasite, as Taehyung called the asshole vampire who transformed Jeongguk, wanted all this property and was trying to get it in the worst possible way.
The least the demon could do was get rid of him, and so he did it with so much joy that it still brings a smile to his face every now and then. Now, after centuries of longing, Taehyung can finally be close to Jeongguk again. Doesn't have to start an argument to see him face to face. He likes the turn of events very much, should be grateful to the traffickers for making this possible in some way.
"Here for you. Unfortunately I don't have any food." Jeongguk rubs the back of his neck. "I mean, besides blood, of course."
"That's fine, I'll be eating something else soon." He wiggles his eyebrows as he brings the glass of water to his mouth.
"No, now it's my turn." Jeongguk takes a seat next to him with a grin, their thighs touching and it's not unintentional. "Tell me, stalker, was it fun watching me?"
Taehyung's glad Jeongguk is not angry with him. "A lot, although I would have preferred to be right beside you. You were so close and yet so far away." It's time to speak the whole truth and stop hiding his true feelings.
"Oh?" The vampire turns his body more to the other and looks at him in surprise. "What do you mean by that?"
"You are so clueless, Jeonggukie." Taehyung giggles and looks into his glass with a sigh. "Look," he begins, "the first time I saw you I didn't know what was going on. I couldn't take my eyes off you and I hated it when he held you in his arms. I was so confused, had never felt like this before and was very annoyed at myself. "
"Annoyed?" The younger one is still confused, needs to know more about it.
"Yes, because I wasn't allowed to be close to you. I should just make sure he teaches you and then I should have left you alone with him." The demon catches his lower lip between his teeth and nibbles on it a few times before letting go. "When we happened to meet a few times later and you always started an argument, I went with it because it made you look so adorable, so angry and upset, ready to jump on me and strangle me." Taehyung laughs as he remembers a certain moment when Jeongguk saw him lurking in front of his house. The vampire almost spat fire when Taehyung approached with a grin on his face. The younger had told him not to show up again. This happened all last month.
"Oh god, you're so... ugh." Jeongguk groans but has a smile on his face. He can't help it, the information he receives makes him happy.
"What can I say? I fell for you." Taehyung looks at him and his eyes clearly show the affection he has for him. No more hiding, he reminds himself.
"Tae." Has his throat always been so dry? Jeongguk swallows the non-existent spit.
The elder hums, doesn't break eye contact and leans forward a little. It's time he takes the initiative.
