CHAPTER 2

**LIAM**

"Whether you like it or not you have to marry this woman!" galit na utos ng aking lolo.

I am stubborn sometimes but when it comes to my grandfather I was like a wimpy puppy. Si lolo nalang ang natitira kong pamilya mula nang ako'y maulila at the age of 8 dahil sa car accident na ikinamatay ng aking magulang.
My grandfather blamed me for the lost of his son, my father.

"you only have 3 days to prepare for the engagement." tugon ni lolo na tila'y nahimasmasan sa kanyang galit.

I just nod to answer him, tumayo ako sa aking upuan I look at him bow my head and walk out to the room without saying anything.I know to myself na kahit makipag sagutan pa ako alam kong hindi ako mananalo.

I went to my office sat down with disappointment. I don't want to marry anyone except for Arah Chavez, yes! it's Arah the woman who caught my heart 5 years ago. It's been 5 years and I haven't heard anything about her since then.

"kumusta na kaya siya?" I muttered to myself.

biglang nabaling ang aking atensyon nang may kumatok sa pintoan. "come in." I said and Jordan immediately came out at the door.

Jordan is my childhood friend, his father works for our family as a driver and his mother bilang isang labandera. his parents died because of an accident nang papauwi ito sa kanilang probinsya para doon ipagdiriwang ang pasko.

habang nagmamaneho sa daan ay biglang may tumawid na bata sa kalsada kaya iniwasan ito ng kanyang ama at bumangga ang sasakyan sa poste and Jordan only left alive. my father promised to support Jordan at all cost bilang kabayaran sa ilang taong pagsisilbi ng kanyang mga magulang.

We grow up together and treat each other like brothers. We went to the same university but we took different course since mgkaiba ang aming hilig, he took Agriculture and I took Architecture. But after we graduate he choose to work for me since dad died ako na ang nagmamanage sa companya namin.

"Sir, the private investigator is here." he said.

"Mr. Villador..."inabot ng lalaki ang kanyang kamay habang pinapakilala ang sarili. "detective kevin Mendoza po."

"please sit down." I answer.

"I wanted to go straight to the point, I want you to know who is the woman my grandfather wants me to marry." I told the investigator.

"I only have 3 days to know about this woman, give me an update ASAP."

"yes sir!" the private investigator stand up and draw himself out of the room.

"are you sure about this?" Jordan ask me with concern.

"yes!" I answered with a confident voice while playing in my pen.

I smile deliberately "I'm going to ruin this woman's life hanggang sya na mismo ang umayaw sa kasal."I added.

Jordan just shook his head with disbelief I know he's against my plan but he is my friend and he supports me in everything.

**The engagement day**
