What the hell grandpa.

It was late at night, I stood in my apartment kitchen, my mind screaming at me to go.

During work, my eyes forced its way to a letter which I had found deep in my drawers.

An escape from this death trap, a flee to a better, more liveable area which would be harder for others to find out.

A deed to my grandfathers farm.

It's a good idea..

What kept me from going?

Siblings finding out and flawking towards me..

Is that really the only reason?

Lewis explained to the pretty carpenter Robin about my moving in.

Referring to grandpa as 'the old bat' made me snort mentally.

Unlike my fathers side, my moms side was very much human, the old guy was on my mother's side which explained his death..

Even now, I miss mom and Grandpa..

Robin gasped in shock before running to me and grabbing my arms, causing a flinch is slight fear from the sudden movement.

"Your Y/n!? Your grandfathers told me so much about you!" She hugged me tightly.

Lewis chuckled and left.

"Man are you cold, which reminds me.. SEBASTIAN! GET UP HERE" the ginger suddenly yelled.

A groan came from a basement by the halls.

Walking up came a tall man in a purple toned black hoodie.

If he had just been a tad bit paler he would've been as pale as me..

"This is Y/n! She's our new neighbour! Your gonna come with us and help with the farm!"

"Y/n this is Sebastian, my son, he's just a year older! Lewis said you were twenty one?"

Two hundred twenty one actually, but yes.

Human years, I would be twenty one.

Nodding in response came a smug grin from Robin.

"You know, I think you two would get along great" She grinned and elbowed the so called Sebastian.

"Mom!" He yelled, cheeks flushing red.

"Who knows" I shrugged, smiling up at the two.

There was definitely something about the guy..

I can't put my finger on it..

Sebastian stared at me in surprise, his face redder than before from the comment.
