"You say that like It's a bad thing"

"Where were you two?" Reed asked Johnny and I as we walked into the main room.

"Just talking" I shrugged.

Reed looked at me weirdly but I just smiled and shook my head. I followed Johnny through the crowd of people as he held my hand as we maneuvered through the sea of people.

"You know for once in my life I actually want to leave this party" He said.

"Who are you and what have you done with Johnny Storm" I smirked teasingly.

"Oh be quiet" He said slinging his arm over my shoulder.

I laughed and stepped closer to Johnny leaning against his side. He held me close smiling down at me.

"You have no idea how bad I want to get out of here" Johnny said.

"What's stopping us?" I asked my boyfriend.

Wow my boyfriend. Johnny Storm was officially my boyfriend. Unbelievable.

"You're brother is glaring at me" Johnny whispered.

I looked over to Reed who was shooting mental daggers at Johnny who had his arm around my waist. Next to Reed was Ben who sent me a wink. I shook my head but allowed a small smile to escape my lips.

"Just ignore him he's being over protective" I said.

"He has a reason to be his little sister being taken away by a man like me" Johnny teased.

"You say that like it's a bad thing" I said.

"It isn't it's the best thing, but your brother probably thinks otherwise" Johnny said looking down at me.

"He'll learn to love us and if he doesn't I honestly couldn't care less" I said.

"You're really hot when you don't care" Johnny teased.

"I'll care less more often" I laughed.

"Excellent" Johnny laughed placing a kiss on my forehead.

As the party went on the guests left and the boat was docked at the pier. Sue, Ben, Reed, Johnny and I were left on the boat seated on the couches.

I sat on a couch next to Johnny. His hand rested on my thigh despite my brother's glare at him.

"So are you two?" Ben said pointing his finger at us waving it between the two of us.

I looked over at Johnny who simply just nodded at me.

"Yeah" I replied sheepishly.

Johnny wrapped his arm over my shoulder pulling me closer to him. Ben smirked.

"About damn time she admitted her feelings" Ben chuckled.

"Wait you knew about this?" Johnny asked.

"Yeah I found out a while ago that Y/n liked you" Ben said.

"And you didn't think to tell me, dude what the hell you knew I liked her" Johnny said to the giant rock man.

"Yeah and why didn't you tell me that Johnny liked me back" I interjected.

"I tried giving you both hints but the two of you just denied it" Ben said throwing his hands up in mock surrender.

"You should've just flat out told us" I laughed looking over to Johnny.

"Well you ended up together so I think it all worked out" Ben said.

Johnny kissed my head lightly and I leant my head against his shoulder.

"You happy for your sister Reed?" Sue asked her husband a proud smile displayed on her face.

Reed said nothing and abruptly stormed off. I sighed knowing he was overreacting again.

"I'll go talk to him" I muttered standing up.

I walked through the corridors of the boat before reaching the back deck which over looked the water.

"What's your problem Reed?" I asked my brother.

"He is, Johnny is the problem as always" He huffed.

"Can't you just be happy that I'm happy" I complained.

"No not if you're with a guy like him" Reed scoffed.

"God you're being such a jerk" I spat.

"Oh come on Y/n you really think Johnny is going to stick around" Reed hissed.

A pain hit my heart. He had no idea what he was talking about.

"Shut up Reed you don't know anything" I spat.

"I know boys like Johnny they get with girls and play around before they get bored and ditch them" Reed said placing his hands on his hips.

"Don't say that about Johnny" I said.

"Oh wow you really are blinded by love" Reed seethed.

"Just shut up Reed and stop being such a dickhead, you may be my older brother but you can't control who I go out with" I shouted.

"I'm just trying to protect you" Reed shouted sounding exasperated.

"I don't need protection from you the one person who has protected me has been Johnny" I said.

"Don't come crying to me when he breaks your heart" Reed huffed.

Reed turned around placing his hands on the metal hand rail surrounding the deck.

"That won't happen" I said walking off leaving my brother alone on the deck.

I walked through the corridors heading back to the main room to leave. I bumped into Johnny who must have been looking for me.

"Hey are you alright" Johnny soothed placing his hands on my shoulders.

"My brothers just being an asshole" I murmured.

Johnny brought me into his chest holding my body close to his as his hand wandered up and down my back, rubbing it softly to calm me.

"Let's get out of here" I said my voice muffled by Johnny's chest.

We left the boat after saying a quick goodbye to Sue and Ben. We decided to walk back to the tower as it wasn't far from the pier.

"What did Reed say?" Johnny asked rubbing the back of his neck.

"It doesn't matter he was wrong" I said.

By the look on Johnny's face my answer didn't satisfy him.

"He said you would end up breaking my heart" I said just audible for Johnny to hear.

Johnny stopped walking I took a few steps before stopping aswell turning to face him.

"Just know I would never do that" Johnny said holding out his hand.

I took his hand stepping closer.

"I may be a flirt, but now that I have you all that is in the past" Johnny said caressing my hand softly in his.

"All I want is you" Johnny said.

"I would never dare hurt you" Johnny murmured.

I reached up and cradled the side of his face. My thumb rubbed along the short stuble on his face. A small smile appeared on his face and simultaneously one appeared on my own.

"I know you would never" I whispered.

Johnny leant forward and placed a spft kiss on my lips before pulling away and taking my hand in his to continue our walk home.

"I love you" Johnny sighed contently.

"I love you too Johnny" I replied with a smile.

"Who knew Johnny Storm could be a sap" I teased.

"This stays between us" Johnny smirked.
