"something didn't feel right"

Emma's POV

"Do you know what's coming up?" he asked.

"No I don't" I said looking through the onDemand menu for the movie.

"Halloween" he said.

"Ha remember last year?" I laughed.

"You mean when you slapped Mandy across the face and totally made her look like a slut? Yes how could I forget" he said chuckling.

"And we took Jazzy trick-or-treating?" I said. I remember Halloween with Justin like it was just yesterday. That was right before we realized that we loved each other.

"Mhmm!" he said nodding his head.

"Oh! And that night we totally had a hard core make out session and I gave you a boner" I said laughing loudly and grinning.

"Hey! It was my first intense make out! Knock it off!" he said referring to my laughing.

"It was cute" I said now calming down. There was a knock at the door which I'm assuming is the pizza. I got up from the couch and answered the door. Pizza time! I gave the guy the money and he handed me the pizza,

"You look familiar" he said. He looked about my age.

"Uhmm," I said awkwardly.

"Your in my law class. Your Emma right?" he said. Oh please. If this is like one of those times where the pizza guy hits on the girl he delivers the pizza to, I swear my perception of the male IQ when it comes to flirting is dropping immensely.

"I guess? Sorry I don't think I know you" I said.

"Oh I'm Matt" he said. He seems kind of nice, but not that cute. Not to be mean or anything.

"Hi" I said awkwardly.

"Your really pretty" he said randomly. Good god here we go.

"Uh thanks" I said standing there awkwardly.

"Ya know we should get to know each other maybe go hang out sometime" he said. He had a creepy look on his face.

"Uhmm, I don't thin-"

"Hey babe" I heard from behind me. Thank god, Justin to the rescue! I sighed in relief.

"Who's this?" Matt asked looking oddly at Justin. Mmkay, this kid is definitely creeping me out. He's given me the up down check out look like four times, and he's looking at Justin like he already hates him.

"I'm-" Justin started.

"This is Justin, my boyfriend" I said, putting emphasis on boyfriend. I know Justin is going to ask me later why I said he's my boyfriend because he is just annoying like that, but it's the only thing I could think of!

"How come I've never seen him with you?" Matt asked. The fuck? Does this kid stalk me or something?

"He just transferred here. For basketball" I said. I shifted closer to Justin and he could tell I was uncomfortable.

"Nice to know" Matt said creepily eyeing Justin.

"Yeah well it was nice seeing you. Bye!" I said closing the door quickly and locking it and leaning my back against the door. I looked up at Justin and to be honest I was scared. Something about him really creeped me out and it just didn't feel right.

"Baby what's wrong" Justin asked. He gently grabbed both sides of my face and looked at me intently. He could tell I was scared.

"He just didn't seem-he really creeped me out. Something didn't feel right" I said. I don't get it. I've been creeped out by people before but never like that.
