Justin's POV

Can she be my girlfriend again already? Technically tomorrow is our one year anniversary. And I really want to do something special tomorrow. She has class while I don't, so I was thinking of filling her room with rose petals or something like that. She says what I do for her is cheesy but she totally loves it. I even bought her a present. Well it's not really a present for our one year, even it it wasn't our anniversary I would give it to her. It's a new promise ring since the first one I gave her was apparently thrown somewhere while she was in the mountains, and I don't blame her for doing so. But this one is better. It is a silver band and has one big diamond in the middle and two small ones on the side and it has the same as the last ring 'j&e. tla. i promise.' engraved on the inside.

Emma has been really freaked out by this whole Matt kid. I mean, he did creep me out a little but he really creeped Emma out. I don't like that she's scared. And the fact that I can't help her overcome this fear is frustrating. And the fact that she totally got jealous of when Lindsay called was great. I really should erase her number or block it so she can't call me.

I looked at the clock and saw that it was already 5:45. Practice starts at 7.

"Hey babe?" I yelled. She seem's to be okay with me calling her babe and baby again.

"What!" she yelled from I'm assuming her room. I got up from the couch and walked into her room. She was laying on her bed messing with her phone.

"I'm face timing with mommy!" she said turning her phone towards me and her mother popped up of the screen.

"Justin!" her mother exclaimed.

"Hi Lisa" I said waving. Emma turned her phone back towards her and I laid down next to her so her mom could see both of us.

"So Justin what are you doing there?" her mom asked. I guess Emma hans't told her family yet.

"I transferred" I smiled, "I'm playing ball here too." I said.

"And get this mamma, remember how I told you I was going to have someone move into the extra room in the apartment?" Emma asked. Her mother nodded.

"Justin was the one and we didn't even know it!" she said excitedly.

"No way! So are you two together again or..." her mom asked. Ha, funny thing, I'm asking myself the same question.

"Kinda" Emma said making a quirky face.

"I see" her mom said nodding.

"Wait so you two are living together" she asked.

"Uh huh" Emma and I said in unison.

"Are you behaving" she asked more seriously.

"Yes mom." Emma groaned.

"Just asking! As much as I would love to see you two have children and give Pattie and I someone to spoil again, it's my job to keep up on both of your safety" she said. Emma laughed,

"Mom!" she groaned.

"What! We're all waiting for the day." she said. Emma put her hand on her face and groaned and I just laughed.

"Well you two have fun. It's good to see you back Justin" her mom said.

"It's good to be back" I said smiling at Emma who smiled back at me.

We said bye to her mom and Emma sighed,

"My mother is trying to kill me" Emma said. I put my head on her stomach and she ran her fingers through my hair.
