Acropolis Stories

In order to escape from a predetermined fate of a god, Wendy flees from Valhalla. In the process, she severs all ties with the Norse, her home. She meets Roland and his squire, Sebastian, on the shores of Great Britain, and winds up traveling with them until she learns of the fate of her whole reason for turning her back on Asgard. Consequently, she must ask the knights for help in returning to Asgard, a power she foresook, and winds up traveling across Europe and Asia in order to find someone outside her culture who can send her to her home with magic. She and the knights meet many and wind up involved in many ordeals within other nations due to Roland's noble nature. It turns out to be an epic adventure only told of in epic novels.

A small town college student, Acacia, is left with her grandmother's will which she must find to secure her future and the future of her town. The will leads her through a hidden world of fantasy set in the ancient Mediterranean. She is caught in a war and pursued by a childhood friend but she really must pursue him if she is to also save the enchanted world of her ancestors. Jan, her so-called childhood friend escaped from exile and is causing chaos throughout her ancestral land. I was inspired to write a more mature version of Narnia complete with a race of unicorns. The first quarter of the book is set in a courtroom in the imaginary Domain, similar to the Midwest.

I almost choked. He was going to school and drinking juice, but at the same time his home was a room in a lame hotel and at nights he worked in a dirty bar. And above all, he was the most annoying jerk I had ever met. Sexy jerk. Sexy, annoying jerk. I quivered inside. Stop it! ------- Anna had it all working out great! A well paid job in a museum, an apartment with Acropolis view and a best friend that rocked. He was there for her in her ups and her downs, always caring and supporting, almost too good to be true. Until one day she lost it all: she was fired from her job, evicted from the fancy apartment and realised she was in love with her best friend. Then she met Alex; the cafeteria boy who had a job proposition. A job she would never have considered accepting in the past. Will she deny the job and stop Alex from corrupting her or will she do what it takes to get back on her feet? Trapped between two different worlds and two guys, she realises that sometimes you have to get dirty to discover who you really are.
