Lol first story. Didn't really know what to write about but dedf1sh came to mind.

The Sequel to "I've made a lot of mistakes" Marina Iida, ex head inventor of the octarian army, is now happily living on the surface with her new family Pearl and Agent 8, away from everything she endured underground. But Mizuta Ahato is still alive. Somewhere down in the metro Agent 8 was rescued from. And Marina is determined to find her long lost friend, no matter what. Even if she has to face her past once again.

It's my wattpad account and I get to put my favorite splatoon band as the book cover Anyway hello! My name is Katie and this book will be diving into something different than what I usually upload. The world of splatoon is a fascinating thing to me. The series give us lore but leaves so many things blank, and this will be me trying to find ways to fill in those blanks! In other words, this is a book of my splatoon theories and even character headcanons.

Agent 8 and Pearl go poking around in the deepsea metro, and find not only Dedf1sh, a mysterious octoarian who seems to have kept some of her mind during her sanatization, but also Sashimi, a self-proclaimed "Salmonling". And there's even mysterious rumors of a girl who might just be... human? Can Agent 8 save Dedf1sh? And is Sashimi really able to be trusted? All of that and more, in "Dead in the Water"!

"Hey, guys," they greeted, to no one in particular. "I'm just starting up this video diary in case anyone finds this sometime in the future. Heck, maybe even I'll find this in the future." They paused, stifling a chuckle, breaking eye contact as they closed their eyes, before looking back at the camera once more. This is the story of how Dedf1sh, the mysterious DJ from the depths of the Deepsea, came to be. Once a regular Octoling, they somehow ended up in the confines of the Deepsea Metro. How they ended up sanitized, however, is a mystery to most, even themselves. (A/N: Everyone has different headcanons on who Dedf1sh is, so my depiction will be using they/them pronouns as to clear conflicts.)

*SPOILERS FOR THE OCTO EXPANSION!!!!!* Dedf1sh was a octoling that was freed from Dj octavio's control. With a new life and a want to be a DJ she finds herself deep in the laboratory's of the Deepsea Metro.

An octoling that served for Octavio, now sanitized. Deep down in the Deepsea Metro, an octoling that is trying to get her freedom with the leader of Squid Beak. These two octolings are trying to escape to the surface, but can they get out? *INCLUDES SPOILERS OF OCTO EXPANSION*

This story is about what I personally think Marina's backstory was like. Some events may not match up to canon events. Pearlina is canon in this story. Characters may be out of character. My aim for this story is for it to be set in Marina's past but I may write about the present later on in the story. All art used is either my own art or official art. If it is my own art it will be stated in an A/N (author's note) at the beginning of the chapter. I do not own the Splatoon franchise or any of the characters in this story.
