If you want hens as pets or know about some facts here a list of facts about our feather friends. I'm no expert on hens and roosters, but I have been living with them since I was three and probably will continue to do so for many years.

Set after the events of Ten Little Roosters this fic follows Ryan as he flees from the scene to avoid the cops who he is certain will arrest him. He goes to the only person he can trust and together they uncover a lot more then they bargained for. Chapters containing smut will be labeled and I will do my best to TW everything. Contains drug use.

I never thought I could love a chicken, but I did, beady little eyes, charming cackle and all. I started out with a desire for fresh eggs. What I ended up with was a colorful cast of new friends and companions. These are the stories of Red Bird, Hawk, Cain and Abel, Spunky Caca Butt, my beloved Tom and many more. They each taught us unique, memorable, and sometimes amusing lessons about love, companionship, and the bittersweet circle of life. This is a slightly fictionalized account of my personal experiences of raising chickens.

For context, I had 7 chickens in 2019. One Rooster and six hens. The rooster, sugar died in 2020. Snug, Zofia, and Coco died more recently in 2021.
