Must have read The Giver by Lois Lowry for a better understanding. This is something I wrote as a school activity for my reading class and I got a good grade so I thought what the heck why not put it here on Wattpad. Jonas's world is perfect. Everything is under control. There is no war, fear, or pain. There are no choices. Every person is assigned a role in the community. When Jonas turns twelve he is singled out to receive special training from an old man known as The Giver. The Giver alone holds the memories of the ture pain and pleasure of life. Now it's time for Jonas to receive the truth. There is no turning back. As The Giver transfers the memories, Jonas discovers the disturbing truths about his utopian world. This science fiction novel by 1994 Newbery Medal winner Lois Lowry captivated millions of readers. However, many people were frustrated with the ending as they were often left with unanswered questions. What really happened? The ending of The Giver has been interpreted in two different ways. Perhaps Jonas is remembering his Christmas memory - one of the most beautiful that The Giver gave him - as he and Gabriel are freezing to death, falling into a dreamlike coma in the snow. Or perhaps Jonas does hear music and, with his special vision, is able to perceive the warm house where people are waiting to greet him.

Do you think that you would be able to live in a world of sameness? No diversity, no color, no differences. What if you were forced to do it? What if you were killed if you didn't?

The Giver belongs to Lois Lowry. This fanfiction was created for the sake of my grade in English class. Basically Jonas and Gabriel end up in another community where it is not affected by Sameness and weather control. I am aware that there are other books but I have not known that when I finished this.

The way I see it. there's only two ways to survive in this world. You could go with the flow and be a slave to the government, or you can rebel and hope that your a$$ doesn't get caught. Either way you have to take that chance, that risk, of being looked at as weak, or as crazy. My name is Megan Smith. I have a little brother named Dylan. We live on a government controlled land I don't even know where. Its been this way since before my time. But I plan on getting out of this before my time ends (not good at descriptions just read the book)

Ever wonder what it would be like if your everyday stereo typical school, with its clicks and social statues took a turn for, the better? Say there weren't any jocks, or nerds, burnout and preps. Everything seems equal, almost too good to be true. As you might have guessed though, the utopia that Mckenzie Wright transfers to is not exactly what it seems.
