thankfulness and gratitude

Wishing you a more prosperous HAPPY NEW YEAR! The Pandemic continues into 2021! If the beginning date is March 10, 2020, then today is Day 297 of week 43! Wow! So much has happened! We are living in a wave of time that ebbs and flows with history being made all around. We are experiencing it first hand, for better or for worse. Nevertheless, as writers, we must continue to tell our stories of life as we see and experience them. I am on a quest to refine my skills in the fine art of finding simple abundance in life, a moment to be thankful, or just a moment to connect. I want to share these moments no matter what size, shape, or form they take. In doing so, perhaps I may help others to do the same. I encourage you to tell your story, for no one else will ever be able to tell it the way you can. I hope you join me on this journey on the edge of the Pandemic of 2020 as we move into 2021. A short story on the value of what you have.

It's important to remember what we are grateful for! Feel free to comment three things you are thankful for! I'm going to try to write at least three a day.

Grateful the Lord is teaching me to rejoice in Him! 💛 "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning." ~ James 1:17 "For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." ~ 2 Corinthians 4:6 I wrote most of this on my birthday recently and a few days ago I finally added the finishing touches. God has blessed me so much through the message He taught me which I wrote about in this poem. I woke up with this on my heart after a night of praying for joy and peace in the Lord and seeking Him. I've reread and prayed this quite many times because the Lord is helping me again and again through the insights He's already given me 🥲 Praying you are blessed! Jesus is the Greatest Blessing!

It's the 1840's and Delphie is 14 and a harlot. She has no faith no hope and no love. All she wants to do is survive, she believe love kills u from the inside out. Will someone save her. Not entirely sure where this book is going, but it is definitely Christian, and hopefully some romance as well. Plz tell me what you guys think. And sorry about the grammar errors.

You have tons of things to be grateful for, and tons of things to live for too. To help you and myself realize that, I'm posting one thing I'm grateful for and why, every single day. ❤️ ( art used isn't mine; all credit goes to the lovely people who made them )

So... I have my Random Rants, and my Insanity Reigns... but apparently I don't have a book for my one-shot short stories. Huh. Time to remedy that. This is self-explanatory. Each chapter is its own unrelated story, unrelated to anything. Well, some might be related to something or another, but some of it is original stand alone work. The chapter title will indicate what it is. Sometimes I get inspiration to write something that doesn't fit in one of my actual stories, so I'll put it here :) Warning: The first two parts are slightly dark. The first one takes a twist; and while the second has a good ending, it implies former struggle.

"Do you remember The Birds, my child?" "Yes. We pray for them every night." "Do you know why?" "No." "It is because, dear one, without The Birds, we would not have memories. Therefore we would not exist." A short story about The Birds. In This World, they are more than tiny flying creatures who decorate the trees. They are the reason for Life. This story will leave you looking to the Sky in wonder. Thinking about something as small as a feather, to as great as the Dying of the Sun.
