That Summer Day

The ocean was once his home,
The waves made him felt alive,
The sky reminded him of freedom,
But everything changed since that summer day,
When the dawn breaks,
As the birds starts to fly,
A girl whom he once held,
Now floats dead on the sea of uttermost despair.
