Marisol has just had the most epic 7th grade year in middle school.  She managed to emerge from being a total loser the previous year, to a semi-normal girl this year and even had her first real boyfriend.  Now, it was the beginning of summer in 1993 and her one wish is to get her first "real kiss" before her thirteenth Birthday.  Her older sister, Susie, is beautiful, popular, and cool.  They've never been close but Marisol is hoping summer camp will throw them together and that her sister will help her learn a thing or two about boys.
