It is the future, and mankind has succumbed to his mechanical impulses. The dominance of city life has created a world of brutality and paranoia, groomed by great syndicates who have succeeded in taking over the entirety of the nation. At the forefront is the Kenneth Corporation, led by the prospective Kenneth siblings, who seek complete mastery over their citizens.

A slim hope resides in the troubled Kane Lauro. Previously conditioned as one of the elusive hitmen, Kane has led a life of constant death and worry. After escaping into the confines of suburbia with his wife, he is kidnapped and forced back into the city by the man in black, an unknown fanatic with secretive plans. Now Kane must once again work in the shadows, tasked with carrying out the assassination of the Kenneths themselves.

It is here that the hitman will encounter the darkest parts of the city, along with all the corruption humanity has built up for the last century. His actions will lead to dire ramifications for the world as a whole-a world soon to fall.
