Just your average slice-of-life story following three 14-year-olds, right? Wait, then why does it start with a murderous "how we got here" moment? In Everything Was Perfect, you'll get to go on a two-week-long ride with the three main characters as their average life suddenly becomes a fight for survival.

When Lark decides to go on a week-long vacation with his crush Kylee and his best friend Jake to a small, unheard-of island in the middle of the ocean, things start out just fine. It isn't until Jake's parents point out that something seems a bit weird do they start to really notice just how odd things are becoming. Something is making the animals disappear, and the ones you do see appear to have rabies or are already dead. Soon enough the parents disappear, the teenagers are left to fend for themselves.
