"Why should I have to take the blame for blood spilt on hands that aren't mine?" Claude Everly is a murderer and nothing more than the final obstacle before the main villain, his father. Cal Ellis is a boy with slight amnesia who can only remember bits and pieces of his past life before he inhabited the body of Claude. Cal, or his new identity, Claude Everly, must navigate through a novel with already existing characters that want him dead and new characters that were originally nothing more than brief mentions from countless sentences. With limited time he must help uncover secrets and corruption as well as steer the plot while avoiding the fate of a villain. Can he do so? Or will the past catch up with him? (Or an alternative summary): A mentally unstable teen is severely confused and is trying not to die, despite him kinda wanting to at this point. Everyone else is either very concerned or confused. *ORIGINAL STORY* Total Word Count (So far, as the story is still on going): 62k words (This is my first book and I'm an amateur writer, feel free to give criticism but please be nice about it lmao) IMPORTANT NOTE: Before we get into this I'd like to mention that this story is gonna have *a lot* of heavy topics: (None traditional) Self-harm, mentions of traditional self-harm, suicidal thoughts, trauma, gaslighting, manipulation, murder, emotional abuse, mentions of suicide, bullying, CULT STUFF, etc... These elements might trigger some readers so I'd advise you to either refrain from reading this story or read with caution. I might (Not very likely) be adding more to the list in the future but those are the main ones. Also, while this story does include a lot of these things, there's still a good amount of comedy and fluff. It just has some angst parts haha (Cover Art is made by me because y'all deserve to know what he looks like at least) ------------- Started: April 2021 Published: September 1st 2021 Finished: ???
