The story begins when Hwoarang saves Jin from the grenade in the Middle East in Tekken 7 and loses an eye. The time line this fanfic follows is different from the official one, although much of what happens follows the official lore. Please keep this in mind, the timeline is wrong according to the official one sometimes, and some things do not happen in the same way: they all were choices I consciously made for the sake of the story.
