Where Abby has an affair in the early stages of her marriage to her husband, Jake griffin, when she conceives a child to none other than Lachlan Woodson, Jake griffin's best-friend. Conveniently, both of them having only just started training for their respective jobs, leaves them little to no time together while Abby carries out to due date with another man's baby. With problems arising of what to do, having planned her future out with Jake. Her marriage, her career and eventually a family of their own. Abby confronts Lachlan on the matter, resulting in the arrest of a drunken aggravated assault and a dropship launching. Could Lachlan Woodson be the infamous 'First man on the ground'? Otherwise known as The Suicide by Earth? And will he be alone?
