When Dipper turned 18, he signed up for the army wanting to save people and make the world a better place. He was never in any danger and promised his sister on his last trip home that he would be home for good in a few months time.His platoon was sent to a small village in afghanistan to clean up lose ends when the shit hits the fan. He comes back scarred and changed, ashamed and feeling like he doesn't know where he fits in the world anymore. He and those around him will have to slowly realize that war doesn't end on the battle field.
