Fighting your inner demon

Knuckles and his wife have a little girl but in the same day his wife struggled with the birth and died, unable to handle raising the little one alone he makes the hard decision to put her up for adoption. The hours he worked were much too long for his daughter to be happy.
Soni a struggling soon to be mother wants to have a daughter but her husband refuses to let her have that. When he leaves for work after years of being told no she goes to an orphanage and builds a relationship with a young echidna girl who she later adopts.
On her 18th birthday she gives her daughter all the information to go find her father, the girl starts and builds a relationship with her lost father and later has her father and adopted mother meet, they fall in love, but both have internal struggles that they must get over to truly love one another and be each other's support.
