Embers

There is a gene that has been carried through generations. A gene that allows people to posses the powers of the earth. The descendants of witches and wizards, only now their powers are more subtle.
The story follows a teenager with these such powers who has struggled with them all of her child life. She is sought out by others with the same abilities and is told there is a war coming.

Somehow she is supposed to be fit to lead. What will she do? And can she cope when love joins the equation?
