A soft hand caressed my cheek. My eyes opened, only to look straight into warm brown eyes.
My breath caught. Elise. Those lips curved into a smile that I knew the taste of. She held the back of my head and pulled me into her lap.
I took a deep breath. Coconuts and sunshine, she had always smelt like that.
Closing my eyes, I smiled. I was back home, with her.
