"Leave her" I said. He raised his brow at my words and I understood what he wanted. "Please..." I begged and a smug grin erupted on his lips. He took my chin between his fingers while tracing his thumb over my face. "Don't beg, sweetheart. Just sign the papers and I'll spare her life." He said and I shuddered. He placed the papers on the table once again and I froze on my place. I have no choice. Only a miracle can save me from this situation but sadly, they do not happen. I need to save my friend's life and for that I have to sign the papers. The stakes are high, there are two sides and I have to choose one. Either my life or hers. If I go with the second option, I'll lose the meaning of my life but if I choose the first one, I will lose someone very close to my heart. I have no choice but to sign the papers. With every stroke, my heart clenched. This is not how I wanted to get married. "Perfect" He said and I rested my trembling hands on the table. The pen fell from my grip and it took me a while to realise the weight of the choice I made. I am married now. The papers have been signed, and so does the silent agreement of our hateful relationship. I will never forget this day, this hour, this place. I will never forget how he forced me for an unwanted alliance.
