It was never supposed to become a one-way trip. When Edmund Wagner and Anne Thornton decide to follow their lifelong dreams of going to space, they find that none of their training could have prepared them for the perils that await. Their mission is a simple one: travel to the space station called the Curlicue to put on a show for the press and then return home in a month. Their lifelong dream turns into a life sentence when the Curlicue suddenly attacks the ten young recruits. Trapped in their tampered space station with no way to cry for help, the brilliant cadets must find their enemy, find a solution, and find a way home all while being picked off one by one. What they fail to consider, however, is who holds all the controls and that if they do return home, who they will have to face in order to be set free. Ten brilliant kids, two crooked corporations, and one deceiving space station. Told through two POVs. [A Nanowrimo full-length novel.] [Sorry if it is hard to read sometimes, I'm still tweaking the story. Writing improves with the story!] [Editing/rewriting/redrafting in progress.]
