Everyone knows about the vampires on the edge of town. It's no big deal just stay away from their areas at night and you'll be fine. Besides the werewolves will look out for you. The werewolves run the whole town. They are the council. You pay them taxes, like every other town council. But in return they also protect you from vampires as long as you don't go into the vampire allowed areas. But if you fall behind on your taxes or knowingly invite a vampire into your house you lose your protection. That sounds fair right?
    
    Well not according to Cordelia Frances, who is 100% human with no family and a bad habit of acting on things before thinking about them.
