Fear isn't really an emotion. Its a verb; to fear something- think of it as saying you like something. To 'like' is a choice. So why isn't fear a choice? Guns used to frighten me. Darkness used to frighten me. Being alone used to frighten me. The woods used to petrify me- but now it's what I have come to call home. I didn't choose to like it (To be honest those things don't appeal to me) but I had to, and not just for my sake. Adapting is vital in this world, it's a skill I've had to learn. Touché to the people where adapting is a gift.
