Otherworlder : A Hobbit Fanfic

Mina is a shifter. When she was younger she could shift into any animal of her chosing. But when she got older she could only shift into a large golden brown wolf.

When her family were slaughtered in front of her eyes, she went on the run seeking solace in the form of Beorn. The only known last skin changer in middle earth. Beorn welcomes her as a sister and she lives many years in his company until she moves on.

Hundreds of years later she gains other abilities while suppressing her shifting. She works as an otherworlder, someone who travels between middle earth and our earth rescuing halflings, hobbits and elves that are caught up in the cruel dealings of our earth.

Mina's recent attempt to rescue an elfling goes bad and she ends up having to finally talk to Thranduil. When things start to crumble around her she goes to the only place she feels she belongs. Her pack.

Can her and the warriors of her pack and the warriors of middle earth work together to fight this evil ?
