Allahie is an archer for her small clan. She's a pure bred fae of 100 years and still hasn't met her mate. Like the troublesome werewolves , fae's instantly know their mate. Fae can't shift but they possess magical powers.

On the battle field Allahie does meet her mate, as the most wicked and cruel lord of the little country. And she shoots him. Right in the shoulder without knowing it. On her way to kill him the bond snaps in place and she doesn't kill him.
