Book 03/06 (Current Version: Prototype - Version 1.0) This story/fanfiction is a 'what if scenario' within the Sci-Fi videogame series known as Halo and is based on an original character named 'Lieutenant Serenity McKnight' that partners with the legendary Master Chief himself, after the UNSC Pillar of Autumn had escaped a Halo Ring known as Installation 04 by the help of a mysterious alien of myth and legend called a Forerunner. The UNSC and their newest ally embark on a heavy defensive throughout Earth against the enemy, protecting humanities home planet at all cost. Lieutenant Serenity McKnight and her brothers and sisters in arms do their best to make the best of the war at the African front nearing New Mombasa. Doing so until an unknown mission would begin, deep in the jungle. The story is a 'reimagining' of Halo and is non-canon and is to be not taken seriously as this was an idea created back when I first played the games. Combat Evolved is the first book of my main series known as 'Halo Battle Buddies' and will lead up to the first game and beyond. Senior Chief 118 has just saved their planet Atrius, barely escaping from death via Nuclear bomb that Petty officer Kyle detonated. They nearly lost 118, and Kyle was presumed KIA. However, in that wasteland of wreckage, a heart was still beating. Kyle finds himself in a strange base, with strange people, and no recollection of the last 3 years. Badly hurt, and enduring a terrible side effect, he must take their word and hope for the best. Now he is an ultimate super-soldier who is helping to fight for their cause. However, as he progresses with his new comrades, he begins to have flashbacks of before the accident. Why is he here, where is he, and who are they. Now he must struggle to piece together his past with the help of a female soldier named Freya and the Scavenger Michael. All while struggling to adjust to his new self. What will he do in the face of so much uncertainty and a secret new covenant attack on the horizon? It's all one big mystery that can't stay secret, but he may not like what he finds when he discovers the truth. -This is the second book to Spartan 118, but can be read without reading Spartan 118. Assembling a group called the 'old remnants' to clear up what the UNSC fleet left behind while the lone freighter 'Fallcon of Collectance' find its way on track to the commandant fleet.

**ATTENTION: My opinion from gathering information and my experiences as an avid halo player and long time fan. I have not personally played halo 5 however there are somethings that I do not need to play halo 5 for to be able to judge off of. I PROMISE I'll play the game with an open mind and see if this game can still be what I had hoped and others had hoped for Halo. Read if you're interested in opinion of someone who loves halo and as my name says, another halo fan. A legendary yet fearsome weapon is rediscovered. Soldiers long without a fight are suddenly thrust into one. One reflects on his past, refusing to look at his future. 4 years after the events of Halo 3, once more humanity is at war with fundamentalist remnants of their alien rival, the Covenant. Critically damaged, the UNSC Houston uncovers another Halo ring, untouched and fully operational. Able to rally a small fleet of leftovers and two Spartan Teams, the humans find themselves in a war of attrition, fighting to ensure that this weapon of mass destruction doesn't fall into the wrong hands. The Spartans must face trial after trial, confronting what it means to be leaders, soldiers, and at their cores: humans. Every man and woman that fights in this ring will not come out the same, or even come out at all. To all of them, this ring will be their gauntlet.
