You must've heard how Aurora had awoken from her cursed sleep through the kiss of true love, how Jack had cut the beanstalk and owned the riches he'd always wished for, how Hansel and Gretel had pushed the witch into the blazing fires of her own oven and escaped her clutches. The stories and myths and legends were passed on from one's lips to another's, heard from the South and traveled North, carried on by hundreds of generations. Tongues had twisted the tales, however, and what would have been gruesome and atrocious were transformed into stories where love begets love and good conquers evil: stories fit for bedtime, for children. But now, I am going to tell you one of the many tales distorted by time. A story about the famed Cinderella-how she lost everything she had and was left in shattered pieces, how she rose up form her own wreckage, and how she had come to realize the bitter truths of the universe. All because of a glass slipper . . . . . . that didn't fit.

She had lost her, the queen thought, both to madness and to sanity, to both life and to herself. When only some weeks after her return to the palace Snow White took a bottle of arsenic in her shaky hands and swallowed it with no thoughts -or mind- of the consequences, the queen was forced to recognize that she had made the wrong decision, that she had chosen wrongly. That she had lost her daughter. Because sometimes, sometimes, oblivion really was all that a broken heart could handle.

#twistfatechallenge What happens when Sebastian is raised again? Everyone would start to panic, then they find out that he actually wants the Downworlders and Shadowhunters to survive, to live. What would happen when Jace, Simon, Isabelle, Alec, or Magnus can't find Clary? They look everywhere just to find out that she's been running around, killing Downworlders, just as Sebastian had before. Will Jace and the other Shadowhunters find a way to stop her? Or will she forever rule the world as their Evil Queen like Sebastian once wanted? (This was originally for the Twist Fate Challenge and I had a word limit, so it wasn't that good, and now I will rewrite it the way I want to)

For this story I imagine Cinderella and everything that happened to her to be invisioned throughher 2 step sisters, Anastasia and Drizella and Anastasia and Drizella are invisioned through Cinderella. Get ready to see sweet old Cinderella become a snooty stuck up teen and Anastasia and Drizella, 2 sweet unfortunate souls. Remember since I only have a month I'm going to be mostly summarizing. Get ready for a twist that's gonna come out of the mist.

This is my entry for the twistfatechallenge. In this alternate universe based on the movie the little mermaid Ariel was captured by men on the docks and nearly killed but Ursula saved the red haired mermaid. Ursula taught Ariel that humans are all the same and that the naive young girl should stay away from them but Ariel had something else in mind.

Alfred Jones is a scientist trying to fix his broken past. While trying to right his wrong, he unknowingly becomes the villain. For the #twistfatechallenge Words- 2487 Age- 15 The music is just there to set the mood, and because I was listening to it while I was typing.

It literally took me about 2 hours mulling over what I would do for this contest's theme. If I were to be quite honest with you all, I REALLY didn't want to do a Lorax thing for this contest, (and the Once-ler's character arc was already too canon for things lmao) but then this idea just... came up. And it was too good and heartbreaking to pass up. Because the first thing I thought up when I saw the contest details was that, "DAMN I'm so gonna write about a Hero turned Villain! But I need an unconventional hero who doesn't really turn evil, just... someone who did something really awry and that in turn makes them the bad guy for doing it." And so I wrote this short fic with a screaming heart because that idea was just perfect. An AU where Ted... well... just read it to find out, I guess? Also hey.
