This is the version of the story I originally wrote, to any who might be interested, which had to be cut down in order to fit within the guidelines of the contest it was being entered in.

Before Westbury, before my conviction, before my love was lost and returned to me: there was a hawthorn tree. There was witch on a rock by the sea. And she sent my wife to me. An entry in @WorldFaerySociety's #MysteryoftheWestburyFaery contest.

Perhaps you've heard rumors of the Westbury Faery. Until the recent uncovering of incredible clues relating to her story, rumors were all there were. As researchers and historians have revealed her tale, I have focused instead on the time before she became the infamous creature, the time prior to her dangerous adventures: her sickness, trials, and abandonment. Think of it as... a prequel. A record of her change, transcending her devastating fate. The awesome amount of foreshadowing in her young adult life is truly amazing. It makes one think hard about one's own life, and of what signs of the future are hiding in plain sight.

The truth of who the Wesbury faery really is...

Selected to be published by @worldfaerysociety I Believe is a flash fiction about a Faery who turned human to prove the existence of love.

Is it a plane? is it a bee? Or can it be a fucking fairy? The skepticism is strong with this one, says Professor McDeldue, he has been made fun of plenty of times with his unfortunate anagram of a surname. He knows that what he says is true and he knows the ignorant will always make fun of those who will always be proven right in the end, on his website, he compares himself to Galileo and Da Vinci. Having invented the Fairy Detector, it was a highly complicated machine capable of displaying information and colors into people's eyes. He had helpers from the far eastern land of China to manufacture it. His grandson watches and nodded at every word he said. Slowly watching the dementia eats and devour him.

The Westbury Faery may not be as kind and loving as people anticipate. In addition to being a beautiful beacon of worship in the Westbury Forest, she is also a trickster and thief. Her mysterious aura has yet to be broken, but there may be only a matter of time before people learn of her true intentions.

Nobody knows who she really is. They call her the Westbury faery. There's not much to say about her. Nobody knows where she came from or why she ever comes. Only a few have seen her and they weren't even sure if what they saw was real. Well that was until Rose Green went for a hike in the forest wandering wherever.

These are my stories for the assignments and prompts, as said in the name. Inclusive are "Teen Programme," which was awarded a spot on the LGBTQ+ Sun-kissed anthology, and "Merged," which got into the top 100.

With her dying breath, a mother pours her magic into protecting her young daughter. Years later, that magic saves the girl from the clutches of a dangerous sea spirit. However, the spirit is angered, and goes out to seek vengeance upon her life. It will take more powerful magic, the kind that can transcend time, to keep this evil at bay. A Tale of Westbury and the Hunt for Faeries is a collection of short stories that is being submitted into the Westbury Faery writing contest. Only twenty stories will be chosen to be published
