Cold is the water

It freezes your already cold mind

Your already cold, cold mind

You jolted awake as the demon standing over you dumped a bucket of ice-cold water over your head. The water ran down the rest of you, creating pink streams in the dried blood caked to your body as your (h/l), (h/c) hair plastered to your skull

"Y'know, honey, this would be a hell of a lot easier if you told me where your brothers are." The demon's female meat-suit smirked.

You just shook your head. Your brothers, Sam and Dean, would save you- and kill the demon. You couldn't tell her anything, you couldn't risk betraying them.

"Now, let's try this again." The she-demon picked up a knife from the tray beside her. "Where are your brothers?"

And death is at your doorstep

And it will steal your innocence

But it will not steal your substance.

With that, she plunged the knife into your shoulder and twisted it.

The shriek you let out echoed in the warehouse, bouncing back and forth. It blended with the chuckles of the demon as she cruelly twisted the blade in your flesh.

"Cas," you whimpered as she tugged the knife out, "please."

But you are not alone in this

And you are not alone in this

Just as the demon raised the knife once again, Sam and Dean ran into the room, Ruby's old knife in your elder brother's hand.

"Let her go!" Dean shouted. He raised the knife threateningly, taking a step towards you and the demon. But she just smirked and lowered the knife to your stomach.

"Ah-ah-ah. Not another step, Winchesters." Her  meat-suit's eyes flicked up to show her own black, demon eyes. You just sagged in the chair you were tied to, letting out a sigh of relief. Sam and Dean were here, they would save you.

Without making a comment, she jammed the knife into your abdomen. Your eyes flew open in horror, and let out a sharp gasp. "Y/n!" Sam yelled, and Ruby's knife flew from Dean's hand to imbed itself into the demon's skull with a sickening thunk.

As brothers we will stand and we'll hold your hand

Hold your hand

Sam and Dean rushed over to you, your eyes still wide open in shock. Sam cut the rope tying you to the horrible, blood-stained chair and lay you gently on the floor.

Your (e/c) eyes filled with tears as Dean did his best to pull the knife out of your stomach as carefully as he could out of your stomach, before tossing it to the side. Dean pressed his hands over the gaping hole where all your important organs were as Sam gripped your left hand in his.

"It's okay. It's okay. Y/n, we'll- we'll get you to a hospital. You'll be fine. You'll be fine, so don't-" Sam, your younger brother, kept babbling as you slowly bled out over the warehouse's cement floor.

"No." Your voice cut over Sam's. "Sam, Dean. I'm not gonna... you know I'm not gonna make it."

And you are the mother

The mother of your baby child

The one to whom you gave life

Dean looked up sharply from his spot on your right, his hands still pressed over your wound. "Don't say that, Y/n. Please."

Shaking your head, you lifted a trembling hand to touch Dean's cheek. "Dean, I'm gonna see them again. I'm gonna see Mama and Dad again."

Sam let out a sob as you turned your head to him. "Sammy, don't cry, please." After a pause filled with your ragged breaths and Sam's sobs, you looked up at the high ceiling before opening your mouth to whisper the question on your mind. "How did you find me?"

"It was Cas. He heard you pray. He got us but he couldn't get in. Angel-proofing sigils."

And you have your choices

And these are what make Man great

His ladder to the stars

"Tell Cas... thanks." Your breath was really starting to come out sharply as you stared at some point over Dean's shoulder. "Are... you gonna stay with me?"

Sam and Dean nodded in unison before Sam's voice broke out, telling you yes, they would stay with you.

"Y'know what, Y/n?" Dean questioned as you slowly nodded, words being difficult to push out of your mouth. "I bet there's gonna be a nice road when you get there. Just like when Sammy and I went, right Sammy?" Sam nodded, his head bowed down to try and hide his tears.

But you are not alone in this

And you are not alone in this

"And you'll follow the road. It'll take you a ways before you get to your heaven. And it'll be nice. Who knows, maybe you'll see Ash there too."

"We'll find you there someday, Y/n." Sam spoke up before letting out a dry, humourless laugh. "Just not too soon, hopefully."

As brothers we will stand and we'll hold your hand

Hold your hand

Suddenly, your breathing cut off. Sam and Dean looked at eachother in horror before Sam let out a sob. Trying to pull himself together, he got up and bent over your body, wanting to lift you up.

Dean got up too. Gently pushing a crying Sam away, it was Dean who lifted your body carried you bridal-style out the warehouse door.

As Sam led the way out, Dean made sure he was out of ear-shot before bending to kiss your forehead and whisper in your ear, "Follow the road, Y/n. See you on the other side."

And I will tell the night

And whisper, "Lose your sight"

But I can't move the mountains for you.

You lingered a few moments as Dean left the room, tears streaming down his face.

"Do you think they'll be okay?" You asked, arms crossed worriedly over your chest.

Noticing the love in your (e/c) eyes, the reaper beside you let out a sigh. "I don't know." He answered. But he took your hand and brought you to the place where you belonged, where you left him to seek out your own slice of Heaven.

After all, death is just the next great adventure, right?

Okay, so just to clear things up, you're Sam's older sister, and Dean's younger sister. The song's called Timshel, by Mumford and Sons, and it's my favourite band btw. I'm also incredibly hella sick, so this is what I did over the weekend. :P
