Second and final part...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You blinked, looking around the large, cold room in which you were in. You didn't remember this...
Where am I? Hello?
And then it hit you. You had been tossed in a van, with Sammy and Dean. Panicking, you looked around, trying to find them. Your tired, aching body still felt off from whatever the scary-man had injected you with.
But taking in a deep breath through your nose to try and find Sammy and Dean, all you smelt was the blood-smell from before. And other humans who smelt a lot like the scary-man.
"Where's that mutt?" A biting voice cut through the still air in the room. Your sharp ears picking up the sound, you crawled over to a large crate, which you hid behind. It smelled like wood, and you wanted to investigate it further, but you decided to ignore that and focus.
As you watched the direction from where the voice came, a man came into view. It wasn't the scary-man, but he was still scary. You knew he meant harm.
So, narrowing your eyes, you got up and went for it.
Completely silent, no barking, you rushed for his throat. If only he had seen you coming... but he didn't.
Screeching, he went down. Your jaws were locked around his throat. The man clawed at your muzzle, scratching your face a bit. But you held on and gnawed. Soon enough, the man had gone silent. His head was practically hanging off his body, only held together by a few ligaments.
Man doesn't taste right...
Shaking your head, you walked through the door the man had originally came through. The large, cold room opened into a hallway. Feeling better with every step (other than the small wounds on your face), you followed to see where the hallway would lead.
All of the sudden, you heard more than one voice. "So what, we'll kill them and dump the bodies somewhere."
"I told you Vanessa, we have to see if there are more. We can't just go through the old 'kill and dump' routine. There could be others." The two soon passed. You decided that it would be dangerous to attack both. But what held your attention was what they said.
I have to find Dean and Sammy. I have to protect them.
Sniffing the floor, you back-tracked the man and woman's scents. Suspiciously, you had only come across the three people. No more than that. Where are they all?
The scents leading to a closed door, you sat in front of it. Not helping yourself, you let out a small whine.
"Y/n?" A tired voice came from behind the door. It sounded just like Dean's. You let out another whine, slightly louder this time. Whispers came from the door, maybe Sammy was there too?
"Go, Y/n. You have to run, girl, or they're gonna get you too." You ignored your command. Dean and Sammy had helped you. Now it was your turn to help them.
Silly humans. You sniffed around the crack of the door. It didn't seem to be the strongest. Which was wierd. You pulled away from the door. You braced yourself.
And ran straight at the door, slamming into it as hard as you could, the side of your body impacting with the wood. It worked. Bursting straight through, you wound up staring into the eyes of your master and Sammy.
"Good girl," Dean croaked after a minute of silence. You rushed over to Dean and Sammy, who were tied to chairs in the middle of the room, which was slightly smaller than the one you woke up in.
Realising that they were tied with more than ropes, you sat and whined, a whine of hopelessness. Giving up, you sat by Dean's side. You would not leave him for anything. And that proved true.
Sooner than you wanted, the scary-man and his two friends had burst into the room. They were angry- you could smell it on them- and they were snarling.
"How many more of you are there?!" Thundered the scary-man. He made an advance on Dean, but you rushed to block him. He was going to try and hurt you, you could tell, but the fear-smell radiating from his friends stopped him. You were intimidating when you wanted to be, and you made sure of that.
But you couldn't hold them off for long.
Get away! Get away from them! I will tear you apart, and show you exactly how scary I can be!
"No! Y/n, stop!" Dean commanded. But you ignored him, because you were supposed to protect him. You knew it was what you had to do.
The scary-man's friends, the man and the woman, pulled him away. You could hear them whispering, and knew it wouldn't be long until they came back.
"Go, Y/n!" Dean urged. "You have to go. I won't let you get hurt." But it was too late for that already. You had made up your mind.
And you were right, again. They did come back. Advancing in on you, all three, you tried to block and bite and keep them away. But it was to no avail. You had only beat the last man because he wasn't paying attention. These people grabbed you.
"I'll pay you back for what you did to Mark, you dumb mutt." The scary-man whispered in your ear.
"No, Y/n!" Dean called out. You could hear him struggling against his restraints. "Dean! Don't!" Sammy shouted back, he too struggling.
You had just closed your eyes and were prepared to to die when a bright light washed over the room. The arms holding you tight in preparation to snap your neck sagged. Opening your eyes, you realized you were free.
Jumping up, you snarled in the face of this new threat. But he placed two fingers against your temple.
You felt peace wash over you... and you knew this new person was not a threat. He was a friend, and his name was Castiel.
"Cas!" Sammy called out. Quick as a flash, Sammy and Dean were free. You ran up to your master, and jumped against him.
"That is one brave dog, Dean. She has already killed one vampire, and was willing to die for you." Castiel told the man. He was smiling as hard as he could, and petting your ruffled black and brown fur. "Although, she calls you her master, and seems to think Sam's name is Sammy." He chuckled.
Sammy just frowned as Dean laughed. "But he is Sammy!"
You are my master. And I will follow you.
~~~~~
Dean did wind up keeping you. You accompanied them on their hunts, and you protected them. In fact, you had saved their lives more than once since that horrible day.
And every time someone asked Dean why he had kept you, he just smiled and shook his head.
When all of you knew that the reason why was because he was meant to be your master. That was proven the first time you saved his life.
DIE ENDE!!!!
