Sighing, you leaned back into a stretched out position on the couch in the living room.
Yes, you were bored. The movie playing on your tv was over, the credits rolling. What else were you supposed to do?
Your Angel boyfriend was probably off either doing some stuff that has to do with Heaven, or helping out the boys- boys meaning Winchesters of course.
Maybe I should go and get a pizza. No, not a whole pizza. Not after last time. Okay, what if I play a game? My email needs checking, I think that lady might have finally responded, so I-
But a fluttering sound often associated with the sound of your boyfriend's wings distracted you from your (bored) thoughts.
"Cas!" Grinning, you jumped up and hugged the Angel tightly. He sort of wrapped his arms around you loosely before sighing in a tired way. "What's wrong sweetie?"
"I am tired, Y/n. Things in Heaven aren't going quite as planned." Shrugging his shoulders, he winced a bit. That made you concerned.
"Cas, are you okay? You seem kind of tense." Cas leaned his head on your shoulder, a very un-Cas-like gesture.
"My... wings are sore. My superiors keep having me fly everywhere. I never get to rest." You nodded, weighing his response. "I apologize if I haven't been around so much, Y/n."
"It's okay, Cas. Is there anything I can do to help?" You wanted to help Cas, you really did, but you didn't expect there to be an answer. He was just so independent, what he said next shocked you.
"Actually... you could rub my wings for me." Cas gave you the heart-melting blue puppy-dog eyes that made you giggle at his earnestness. He was just too damn cute for his own good.
"Okay! That'll be fun." You enthused. Secretly, you had always wondered about Cas' wings, but never had you gotten up the courage to ask about them.
Cas gently pushed you away. Complying, you moved over to the other side of the room. If his stories to you were true, you had to look out so that you wouldn't get blinded by the light.
He took off his trenchcoat, his jacket and tie. Rolling up the sleeves to his white shirt, he looked at you. "Cover your eyes please, Y/n. Don't look until I say."
Nodding, your eyes were hidden by your hands. You waited as a bright light washed over the room until you heard Cas' quiet voice. "You can open your eyes now."
Eagerly, you looked at the wings of your boyfriend. They were impressive.
Two large, gorgeous black wings filled the air on either side of Cas. Glossy raven-coloured feathers rippled in the light thrown off of the small lamp on the coffee table in front of the couch.
Sitting behind Cas as he turned, his back to you, you peered over his shoulder. "Are you sure it's okay for me to do this?"
Your Angel boyfriend nodded. "But I apologize, Y/n. This is the first time I have shown my wings to anybody outside of my family."
Nodding, you turned your attention to Cas' sore wings. Putting both hands on the left wing, you gently stroked downwards. Cas' feathers- they were like the softest things you'd ever felt. But you could also feel the muscles quivering underneath, showing how strong Cas really was.
Now not afraid to harm Cas' wings, you dug your fingers into the most tense of muscles. Sighing in relief, Castiel slumped forwards. "Y/n, that feels... wonderful."
You grinned. "Y'know, Balthazar told me something. Let's see if it's true."
Hesitating just a smidge, you dug your fingers into the base of Castiel's wings. He let out an almost inaudible gasp, freezing in his seat.
"How do ya like them apples?" You questioned, a huge smirk on your face.
Castiel turned to you, grabbing your face in his hands. He pulled you in for a kiss, rough and passionate.
It left you both gasping for air. "Y/n, how-" Cas started, but you quickly cut him off.
"I told you~ Bal told me a little something-something, and I just wanted to test it out!" His brow furrowing in confusion, Cas turned the blue eys of confusion on you.
"But even I didn't know that was 'a thing'," Cas made air quotes to that last bit, "But it felt good. I don't understand."
You pullled Cas in for another kiss, only more gentle. "Don't think. Just accept it. 'Sides, Bal is a bit of a man-whore. Who knows what he's done?"
And so you began stroking Cas' wings, digging into his sweet spot once again.
