The tour was starting off in Atlanta, Georgia as they arrived at the racetrack, the guys were hooting and hollering as they all filed a single line down the steps of the tour bus as Kenny wrapped his arm around Dolly's waist and neck.

"Now, I don't want y'all goin' out there just to get yourselves hurt. I'd like my husband in one piece."

"Don't worry Dolly, we'll have him in one piece. It won't be the first time we raced here."

"I'm just saying that I don't want anyone getting hurt or acting like a fool."

"We know and we'll be good boys."

"That's what I wanted to hear."

...

Dolly and Judy sat close to the guys as they kept a close eye on her as their boss requested to do.

"Hey you two, would you like something to eat or drink?"

"Sure, I'll go and help you." Judy said as Dolly sat there, just admiring Kenny.

"Dolly, would you like anything?"

"No honey, I'm fine." Dolly smiled as she looked out at the racetrack and prayed to God that Kenny would be okay.

As she was looking through her purse to see if she put her crackers in there, she felt her mind drift back to the early morning.

She tried to rid the thoughts of him from it, but she needed Kenny now to get rid of the whole memory for awhile but he looked like he was having a great time as she walked to where the flag man was.

"Can you get my husband over here for a few minutes?"

"Kenny, Dolly needs you." He said through the megaphone."

"Thank you, it's very much appreciated."

"You're welcome."

Kenny came rushing over to her side, knowing she was in a fragile state of mind and told them that if Dolly needed him, to get to him right away.

"This is all too much for me right now, I usually would love to be here with y'all, but I need you to be with me. I thought I could be here, but I can't" Dolly started crying.

"It's okay baby, I understand." Kenny said as he wrapped his arms around her.

"But I don't wanna leave either."

"Then, I won't race. I'll have someone fill in for me."

"No, you made a commitment to everyone here. What will they think when you don't race?"

"I don't care what they think. You're my wife and you come first, everything else comes last."

"No, I want you to be here. Judy will get my mind off it for awhile."

"Are you sure?"

"I have the guys and Judy beside me, so I'll be alright. When we get back on the bus though, I wanna sleep."

"Sounds like a wonderful idea to me."

"I love you honey."

"I love you more angel. Both of my angels." Kenny said as he kissed Dolly and caressed her stomach.

...

After the races, Kenny and Dolly retired to their room where Dolly decided to take a shower, but something lingered inside of her since the end of the race.

"So, you just let that guy win?"

"I had more important things on my mind than winning."

"But didn't you want that trophy to display at home?"
